It is time SL tourist board to properly inform tourists about the importance of sigiriya. It is a world heritage site for reason, it is not just a rock you can climb.
You went all that way and didn't go up Sigiriya cuz $35..! You have no idea what that $35 would have got you. For me it was most amazing thing I ever seen in my life.
@yousafali1662 I saw the same thing from the other rock, and multiple people told me it wasn't worth the money as the other rock has better, unfortunately I'm on a shoe string budget, that 35 dollers is 5 nights accommodation,
Yehh, we didn't see the fortress ruins, but that doesn't justify 35 dollars. Unfortunately, I thought Pidurangala Rock was just as good for a fraction of the price
