1:06 You said "5090 had 16 GBs of GDDR7" When, I think you got it backwards when recording as the 5080 has 16 GB of GDDR7, and 5090 has 32 GB of GDDR7 (Unless I mis-understood what you said, which is entirely possible)
Great analysis, thank you! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
They wouldn't set those prices if they didn't know people won't buy the cards. I even expect shortages and prices to increase further, as has been the case with 3090 and 4090.
I feel like I got my money worth out of my 2080ti/i9-9900k rig over the last like... 7-8 years. I dont mind paying for a 5090 to future proof for awhile again.
Stupid people will buy it, and continue to contribute to top end graphics costing more than an entire decent gaming PC combined. At this point Nvidia can just write whatever they want on the price tag and gaming 'enthusiasts' will open their wallet and say thank you daddy Jensen, as they help ruin their own hobby. Thankfully this overpriced Nvidia junk is off limits to my gaming rig. A multi billion dollar company, yet for years they can't make a Linux driver that can actually properly manage VRAM.

"you have just won the Super Bowl. What are you doing next?"
Now that I can afford it I'm going to buy a 5090!

The prices are high on these cards because people buy them so they always push prices up as long as they keep selling them at Strong
Yup I’ll be buying 5090 and I think there’s lots of people who want to. Price will hopefully prevent scalping.
@@macberg5806 braindead
@@macberg5806 You underestimate how nasty scalpers are. This card will be unbuyable at launch.

All price "leaks" at this point are pure speculation. The truth is, nobody knows what the prices will be until nvidia announces at CES.
"16GB of GDDR7 VRAM"...nope. It the 5090 will have 32GB of GDDR7 VRAM. Stopped watching after that.

I’m also still running 2080ti
And I even resurrected it in the oven once and melted one fan, but it still works 😀
Not terrible, considering I can get at least a grand selling my 4090.
I will be buying a 4090 used if i can get it for around 1300. These prices are fucking crazy!
