The ocean is the most beautiful but scary thing at the same time.
Jet ski guys ..Just straight Hero's.
Can't set the Guinness Book of World Records without some drama
It's not. When water is heavilly mixed with air, you cant just swim up and remember, inside "a wash machine". That drama that you just call, is about 10-13 meters of trouble pulling you down!
Grosser Respekt den Surfern, unbeschreibliche Leistung die braucht Mut,Kraft,Leidenschaft, Risiko...Bleibt Gesund Jungs❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
AFTER WATCHING THIS I HAVE OFFICIALLY GONE SURFING 🏄♂️🌊
Großartige Bilder! Respekt den Surfern, solch tonnenschwere Wasserwände zu "reiten"!👏👍✊🏄♂️
SCHNELL 😂😂😂NINE 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Waves in Nazare are like avalanches near the Summit in the Himalayas.
Dude rode the biggest wave ever but paid the price.

Is so difficult to survive, because of the balls of steel…
How nice it is to be a fearless and feeling-as-immortal psychopath! Keep it up - life loves the bold and fearless-exuberant psychopaths! They are here to show us, the simple, ordinary and boring mortals what a waste we are...
All of these people are insane, nuts, bonkers but I’m envious too. I can’t imagine what it must feel like sliding down the face of a 75+++ foot wave
I'm fine with not knowing. 😮
Im am the dream weaver. The bringer of life and death, for i seek Nature..she is my salvation
This is insane 😮
There the heroes every time the surf is huge
4:31 -"well... then he didn't surf the wave, he fell!" that was Laird Hamilton's reaction when he saw footage of Carlos Burle surfing an 80ft. wave in Nazaré. Then again, I think he was the guy who said it was "impossible" to surf Pea'hi without a tow... to which Marcio Freire, Yuri Soledad, and Danilo Couto said -"hold our beers!"
Wow! That's intense
To those who rebuff the argument that the images were distorted, or condensed, so the waves look taller, just look at the surfers, and especially the jet skis; they look like stick figures, narrow and long, so, the image was definitely tweaked, and for the "artsy" crowd the figures look like Alberto Giacometti sculptures, look him up and watch the footage!
Sorry, but they just look like big as oh shit mountains of water, so they didn't need to enhance anything. The noise must have been stupendous.
TODAY WAS MY FIRST TIME SURFINGAFTER WATCHING THIS
Wowsers. Mad people 😢
GODs grace and mercy!
For giant waves and in situations of extreme vulnerability, in cases like this I think it's time to think about building something like a mixture of a helicopter and a flying car, but it must be amphibious because jet skis have their limitations as they are stuck in the water like any other. vessel.
surfing, not Grand Theft Auto!
Amazing humans!!
Why the image is stretched vertically? The reality is not enough?
It's not
totaly stretched. no need, the waves are big enough
@@josealbergaria6353 That's clear.
No it's not stretched. The physics / mechanics of this wave are that there are underwater canyons outside of the break that cause the wave to "wedge" up into massive peaks once they feel the bottom as they approach the beach. Search on youtube for "the wedge newport beach, CA you can see the same effect that is caused by the wave reflecting off the breakwall as it approaches the beach (but in a much smaller scale).
@@timbritten5944 the video is obviously stretched you can see by the people. It's badly edited.
すごい😮サーフィン🏄♀️上手だね😮

100 foot wave....great movie.

Ultimate adrenaline rush
Can someone describe to me what it means to be catched in that kind of waves? I love when it's windy at the seaside and I'm very attracted by big waves (obviously when they are just some meters high), but I really would know what happens when you remain "stuck" in one if that giants, what are the real risks (the impact, the time you remain under water, how deep are you pushed down ecc.). Thank you in advance to who would try to explain this to me.
Can't really answer you but as a teenager I got caught and stuck by big waves on the beach (in Nazaré actually)
Obviously not this big, but the sensation is absolutely awful. The white foam when it falls on you you feel like it's dismembering your body/breaking it. It presses your chest like you can't breathe and just moves your body wherever it wants you to move. The bigger the mass of water the harder it is to come to the surface. At the time I didn't master the technique of diving under the wave to avoid being hit. Being hit is the worse. It hurts and feels desperate. I remember crawling to the shore in terror and not wanting to go back. But these waves were obviously smaller.
@@helenacorreia7613 Thank you very much for telling this experience, it is very evocative and intense. I imagine it has to be very frightening, now I can understand a little more the sensations. I keep thinking body surfing is the sport that attract me the most, even if I think I will never be brave enough to try. Thank you again for your beautiful description!
I would say the jet ski's are brave but not heroes. Both surfer and skier made it to shore on their own. But it takes incredible courage to ride or rescue in these massive waves. More than I certainly have.
Tds tem que ter talento pra dropar e pilotar...ou vc não sabe
Crazy!!! Insane heroes 🤯🩵🌊👏
Kai's 2 waves are far from the biggest, #2 the guy who went left charged way harder, he just kept the fat side of the wave.
cray powerful
Good God, brave
Most extreme sport! After astro/cosmo nauting.
Thanks for the compliment! It's all about pushing boundaries and enjoying the thrill.
Vai a largo...e torni a riva...vai alargo...e torni a riva....vai a largo...e torni a riva....................
No se rindieron ...
in its extremeness it is very reminiscent of the Isle of Man where they race bikes without speed limits on city roads. Where the prize is to get to the finish line alive.
XLT 1200 and Away . !
Reminds me of video 'Bilobong odessey..'
Images are DEFORMED, try again!
Stretching the video to make the waves look taller?
No, that is how Nazare actually forms
@@olsim1730the image is streched.Disgusting
@@MrAranhaman ahaha.... of course!
@@MrAranhaman NO. Go and examine how the sea bed is formed...
You don't have to at Nazare

How is the jet ski team the heroes when the dude got into trouble himself and the surfer got saved by a vest?

it's not Human. its Orion biorobot crafted by Zetas.
When I was a kid I use to think that surfing was something that loafers did to waste time. Boy was I wrong. I had no idea of the skill and courage it takes to face these waves.
8:52 But how is that statement of the jet ski teams true? I get it, most of the times there very needed. But in this case? No. By having too many jet skis between the waves, and then losing one, they have reduced the surfer's chances of survival.
... Not my language, but on of the best videos i have ever seen!!! 👌

Yikes, what a bunch of bullshit, he never rides the wave. Neither do most of the other "surfers" on here, exiting out the back isn't exactly Laird at Tuepo is it?
This is a very different wave than Teahupoo, less hollow but much bigger . They have to be very very carefull , and not wipe out . And still there are lots of rescues at nazaré.
Its more like trying to survive a monster wave. Teahupoo has the danger of a shallow reef.
tout ça pour un stupide ego
nice power point editing
