@@PherotoneStudios Well worth your efforts mate!. Definitely an awesome mod to do! If/when I get a Tele I'd definitely do this to it! Gives some really interesting sounds!
Bought a Harley Benton black paisley and followed your video’ instructions. I’m happy to say that the outcome was satisfying. The series position is what I liked the best. Thank you !!
I actually dig the 4th sound sure not for everytjin but i imagine it cpuld be an intro tone. Has an old time radio vibe. Easy to switch off after the intro too. Definitely doesnt hurt to have and im doing it to mine as soon as my 5 way comes in.
@@crumpmakecountrygreatagain425 Doesn't need to be an intro or bridge type thing as you described, so long as you have a juicy valve amp tone they don't sound gimmicky. I have 2 OOP tones on 60s tele and I use them both when I'm just playing and exploring sounds/riffs.
THANK YOU! FOR THESE SUGGESTIONS!!! PERHAPS INSTALL A "STACKED (DOUBLE) POT, FOR BOTH VOLUME, AND TONE, AND INSTALL IT IN THE BOTTOM/REAR LOCATION, AND ELIMINATE THE VOLUME KNOB FROM THE STANDARD LOCATION, ALTOGETHER...THEN, MOVE TAT SLIDE SWITCH FUTHER BACK/DOWN, TOO!..(?)
Hi, I have exactly the same color MIM Fender Player Series - I find its neck pup sounding a bit harsh and clipping. Are u satisfied with this factory alnico? It is very tall, lots of wires on it I guess.
Just bought one of these teles and love it, was thinking of doing this mod with set of fender noiseless pups ive got lying around, worth doing or stick to the stock pups?
10:41 neck
10:59 bridge
11:35 neck+bridge
11:53 neck+bridge series
12:19 neck+bridge oop
Out of phase with the tone off was pretty nice! Always good to have more sounds available. 👌🐴
Yeah it’s a nice addition
Another great one mate! Super informative and easy to understand! Such a gorgeous Tele!!! Love white guitars.
Thanks mate. A lot of effort went into this one. Absolutely love this mod!

Thank you very much!
If I were to want to add this to a jazzmaster build how would I go about adding the additional neck pickup ground?
Can i fit in a push/pull pot for bridge humbucker coil splitting?
Very helpful, my friend.
Thanks for sharing.
I want to upgrade my Tele with this switch. I have a humbucker in the bridge position. Is the parralel position going to sound any good?
Nice video thanks
how do you wire the out of phase mod on a regular five way?
What do you think, it possible tó realize this kind of swithing with a regular 5-way stratocaster switch?
will that mod work with a humbucker in the bridge
How would the components and diagram differ if the pickup configuration was HS instead of SS?

The out of phase sounds like it has built in Acoustic Guitar Emulator Pedal
Did the Tele body cavity accommodate the new switch without any boring/drilling? Was it a simple drop-in?
mine was a tight fit you deffinatly wanna use thin wire
Does anyone actually use that out of phase position?
I was thinking of skipping that setting and putting a preset tone circuit in its place.
I’m gutted that your recommended control plate doesn’t appear to be available in gold :-(
Is this possible with a regular 5 way switch?
Definitely. That’s what this was
I was unclear. That's my bad. I have a CRL 5-way Lever Switch (not a superswitch)@@PherotoneStudios

u dont need a superswitch..try 10 poles 5 way switch...it is better
You never want anything touching your knob when your playing your tele!
I live and die by that rule!
