    I discovered trains in the early 90s. I knew about the C&O Lexington Ashland-Louisville route via Lexington, but I've only seen photos. Glad to see there are films and detailed history on that rail line. Thank you for putting this up.

    My dad just started a new model train track layout featuring this train and Olive Hill where he grew up. Thank you for posting this video that he can reference.

    Back in 1981 we were at the LN yard at Winchester.
    A westbound Chessie made the LN connection at Winchester and pulled southbound into the yard.
    The depot at winchester had just weeks before being demolished.
    One of the very earliest re-routes as a result of CSX.

    Awesome video. Used to live close to the Lexington Subdivision in Ashland as a kid. Wish it was still around.
