Letting a 5 year old take a 50 yard shot with a CB all I can say is wow very irresponsible.
I would have never every done that I raised my kids to be way more responsible then that!!!!
I mean I dont know if Ide take that shot!

To those that complain about bad shots, remember, people are usually only going to call out a thermal drone pilot on iffy shots, good shots equate to quick kills and usually quick finds. Therefore the Amish have a much higher population of poor shooters 😂

The speed of sound is 1126 FPS, a hunters bolt will NEVER out do that! So simple math is, the greater the distance the greater the reaction time! While stationary targets don't move, a live deer will certainly react to a sound (crossbow releasing or bolt in flight).
