- Luke Skywalker will always be one of my favorite Star Wars characters. I love his ROTJ costume and wanted to do a cosplay of it.
I purchased the base costume from Amazon and then added some of my own touches to make it shine! Please let me know what you think.

Strangely didn’t ever notice he had the Jedi robes in the first half of the movie, until about 10 years ago. 🤣🤣🤣
Your cosplay is adequate. The effort and enthusiasm is very much so present, and your creativity is unrivaled. I myself own an expensive, custom tailored, screen accurate to the smallest detail Luke Skywalker suit. Given my circumstance, I do set quite the high standard. Through my travels through the internet and perusing other cosplayer's Luke suits, I have seen many a rubbish costume, whether it be the incorrect colors of the Obi, poorly crafted shirts, or overall lack of effort. They all boil down to the refusal to invest in top quality and worthwhile parts and vendors. Yours overall is not terrible, however if you wanted to enthrall onlookers with your suit, I plead you drop amazon-purchased pieces, and invest at least $2,000 into the accurate pieces.
This was a weekend throw together project and I honestly don’t care enough to put that kind of money into it. If I’m spending that type of Money I could build another suit of armor which is much more satisfying to me. My armor enthralls everyone who sees it, I’m cool with that.

You really shouldn’t spend that kind of money I only spent that much cause Luke was the less expensive option than some and he’s my favorite character so I had to. Also for a weekend costume it’s pretty good Halloween or whatever it was for. Have a nice day MTFBWY!

Definitely Amazing costume , I really need to get a sewing machine (learn how to use it) and make a costume for myself (as well as fix my kids clothes) , is it cheating if my mother in law works at a fabric store and has a discount? Awesome video as always.
That’s not cheating, it’s an advantage. I have a sewing machine but have not yet learned to use it, all my hems are iron on! 🤣
