I also left Canada because of poor job opportunity in my field and even in other fields. Money you get is very low, heavily taxed and you can't visit your country so easily. I moved back to India and enjoying every bit.
Canada has better standard of living and so it is more expensive compared to India. Also it is difficult to save much in Canada.
A Simple logic to consider,be it any other country apart from canada-Earning overseas and being settled in India,is the real deal, else no matter how many US or canadian dollars,or any other currency one earns, each penny will be hard to spend in the same country one earns them.In a way, advantage of having a weak currency, but yes,we still do have to pay a price.

@@subhamthemusicalguy8851 Know. And India is much cheaper to live, compared to Canada.
So the reasons are:
1. Not getting the desired job
2. Financial Struggle
3. High Cost of living
4. Healthcare System is not free(Dentistry)
5. Cold Weather
6. Homesickness
7. No work-life balance

So guys never get very high hopes, it always takes time to settle down.
At least you are telling truth otherwise those who come to India do not talk about their suffering and hardships they only talk about pros and people here start believing that they are the happiest and luckiest people on the earth which is not the case. And this thing leads to craziness to leave the country. Hope people will get to know the reality from you video.
I have tried telling people the truth but people don’t listen to me lol. Sometimes my mom and dad think if I can’t afford Mercedes I must be doing something wrong. 😂😂😂 It’s really easy to believe the liars. @@vidanaps714 hi there I am from US everything is so expensive here as well. Please check before you start planning anything. The taxes are high and I barely save anything. Getting a new job is very competitive here and I feel like I am living on paycheck to paycheck. Can’t even save enough for down payment. You only get rich here if you have your own business or drive a truck. Your whole salary will go towards your house/rent, taxes,401K and groceries and gas. No savings 🥺
My brother's family is in Canada, and he told me not to come Canada it's hell expensive.. I'm in United States working after my graduation.. I've decided to stay in United States. My brother and his family will eventually shift to United States as well.. whatever u told is 100% true..

Hanji life style is really bad in Canada !!! And also no one who is struggling to survive have money or inclination for winter sports even !

In my experience, USA is worse the visas they offer are very restrictive. I wasn’t able to legally work or obtain pr there and I stayed for over 15 years. For me Canada has more opportunities

I am Nursery Plant Farmer and Live on my farm near Mumbai, India.
When I got my PRV after a 6 year wait, I was over joyed. When my Visiting British( gorah) friend came to my farm home. I told him that I got my Canadian PRV. But he was surprisingly sad. And asked me " Its Cold out there, why you want to go there, and over at my farm Warmth is free "
I really never appreciated that warmth is free at my Palghar, Maharashtra, farm.
Then when We arrived in Canada and went to meet my wife's friend I casually showed the Photos of my farms Plant collection.
One Canadian friend said when she saw the photos, she said " I don't think you will leave your farm and come here" Somehow Her utterances came true. It's 12 years I am still in India and my family is in Canada. My is PRV is expired.
I will apply for renewal on humanitarian and Compassionate grounds.
If i live here I miss my family
If I go there I will miss being with all my plants.
I don't have that much money to make a huge green house Dome in Canada where I can keep all my plants and live there.

- Colleges/universities not as good compared to in the US
- Less job opportunities

How is the cost of living there in the US? In comparison with Canada
Plainspeak- Even if you are a doctor in your home country...be prepared to mop floors and clean bathrooms in Canada for atleast 2-3 years when you arrive !
Pathetic better to be Munnabhai
I am a Canadian citizen now and lived here for 10+ years. Also, lived in the US (4+ years) and UK (3 years). This video covers major issues in Canada. I like to add other factors based on my personal and other Indian colleagues and friends experiences in these countries.
Cons: Highest in Canada, then UK, and then the US. I have a PhD and Postdoc experiences in the Top #1-3 Rank universities in Canada, UK, and the US, and the work experiences are of mine and other people at these institutions.
Work opportunities: Discrimination based on the race, gender, religion (Sikhs and Muslims watch out!) and appearance (height, looks, etc.) will dictate getting a job, security, and promotion in R&D and managerial jobs. Immigrants are most to suffer from low salary, long work hours, low job security, burnout, depression, etc. The US IT sector has more opportunities as long as you can move (my spouse changed 7 jobs in 2-3 years and we had to move to different states/cities with a 1 month old baby). Other sectors like R&D are hard to get jobs but they are long-term jobs and do not have to move!
Healthcare: Health care in the US especially in big cities is best in the world but it is accessible only if you have a great insurance plan from your work. Otherwise, no one cares! Canada basic (not everything) health care is free but it takes months/years to get a doctor at the beginning, and after that they simply ignore their patients since they get paid no matter what. It is free and useless! In the UK, medical professions are more empathetic and very efficient to solve the critical health problems. Patients get discharge soon after surgeries since they don't have budget/beds/staff, etc.
Cost of living: Do not change country until the recession is over. Without Financial Credit History (must in US & Canada), renting or buying house, credit card, car rent/buy, etc. become even more expensive and new immigrants will not be able to cope.
India is better.
That was excellent but could you please tell me that how much is the waiting to move I am form Pakistan
Great review n suggestions

Same goes for any foreign countries Bro! I liked your comment which says 'What is the use of that money if you are not happy '
Love the post of pados ki chachi ka beta wahan par hai
All the points are 100% Correct...Add some more points
1. Harsh weather
2. -40 Its more than sitting refrigerator freezer.
3. If your body doesn't bear cold or you get sick easily in home country because of weather change or coldness..
4. Then dont shift to Canada it will create more health issues even Anaemia or major other problems.
My son and daughter in law moved to Canada about 2 years ago on PR. Both of them are having MBA degree from a reputed management college and were working in MNC's in India. Initial period was very tough for them and even my son had to work in Wallmart for few days as helper for livelihood. Now both of them are working for reputed companies in Canada, and are easily managing their own house, 2 Cars and best life in Alberta despite high interest rates, minus 40 degree peak temperature and inflation. Guys before moving have a big heart to adjust yourself in adverse situations.
Indians in India don't understand how difficult it is to adjust to new country.
Point #8 applies to me even when I got job in my own field. I am very impressed by the bullet point presentation and very straight talk by her! I liked her concluding remark at the end!
Winter weather of canada is worst as compared to India,I had spend 5 years in Toronto but due to bad weather I returned to my hometown in India.
Cold weather all the time?
I only had problems during the first year. Now I don't mind the winter

100% true.I came here after retirement to join my child. If your lives are not safe in your country due to unrest, only then think of leaving your country.Forget everything else.I used to attend 100 patients per day. Here I have to wait months to have an appointment from a doctor. They don't care diseases complicate with time.
Realistic analysis with very simple way of explaining facts . Thanks Sanday for such a compact and comprehensive view.
1. can have to do a labour job despite degrees & pr .
2. financial difficulties, have to do a lot of hard work.
3 high cost of living. 22-30% hike in grocery, most expensive plane of mobile ; 5-6% interest rate which used to be 1-2 %
4. waiting in the health care system even in an emergency.
dentistry treatment is so expensive,
5. snow for 5 months, winter depression
6. home sickness
7. no work life balance of immigrants.
8. high expectations
Health care system in Canada is worst my friends mother needed MRI they gave her appointment after 3 month can you imagine. You Don't have to wait that much even if you want to get it done in PGI.
My mother needs knee replacement surgery. Waiting time is 2 years in Ontario. Canada is a failed country run by colonial bastards.

Amazing video. The explanations are applicable for more or less every country.
very nice presentation. I came to england, studied my masters, I traveled across quite a few places in western Europe, and then realised that there is no other better place than India for a comfortable living. I have seen the hardships of developed countries, and of India as well, but there is something in India which makes that place so good, and that's the same reason, why invaders through out the world came to this place to gain in some or the other way.
Very well made video. No nonsense hard facts presented as it is. Keep it up !
Great video. You shared some great points regarding loneliness and also work life balance. I have heard so many examples of people who moved due to a better work life balance in Canada but now they work in two or even three jobs due to high cost of living. It's ironical.
India is also good country to live if you do good education and work in IT industry.. companies are providing health insurance and provide high end package where one cannot get in Canada and US.. In my home country i am getting high package per month which i am not able to get in canada and US.. India healthcare is also very good

Another important point most people must know is that if you are young and come here you might most probably adjust well enough - because everything is new and exciting . After a few years when the newness wears off the winter, unsocial culture, poor career progression, etc. will really make you miss your old life in India.

I agreed with her about Medical services...most of the western countries hospital's are bad. I stay in Australia for 5 years and the hospital's service are very slow have to wait long time. My husband have to wait for more 3 months just to check his teeth at Dentist. It is the same for New Zealand. My home country Malaysia medical services are better than Australia. Now my family's are back to Malaysia and we are happy here. My husband friends living in Canada also mentioned the same problem. It is better to stay in our home country if u have to suffer all that problems.
Sadly, not only Indian immigrants are leaving Canada. Both my Canadian born, professional children left on U.S. Green Cards seven years ago. They are now U.S. citizens living in Silicon Valley- Bay Area, California.
Entire USA is now becoming shit hole.
As an aside to financial hardships and homesickness immigrant children from South Asia are bullied and despised in high school. My neighbour's brilliant young son only 14, committed suicide a couple of years ago. Due to bullying
