What about reading His word she missed this step - I hear God speak to me every time I read it and if I want to hear God’s audible voice - I read it out loud
That is like a husband or wife reading there love letters, but never talking face to face. If you have a relationship with Someone communication is normal and expected.

Maria Bingham well through the word for sure, but also dreams and visions, prophecy, words of wisdom and knowledge.
God speaks differently to different people. My grandmother was healed of TB by being knocked down, she fell on her knees, she had a vision, she lived fully healed of TB without medical intervention, she served the Lord all of her life.
It’s not about what “feels” right to you or feels like it’s the lord, it’s about what the Word of God says.

Only people that are filled with the Holy Spirit know exactly what she is talking about. It lines up with Scripture. The Holy Spirit is Scripture. Jesus is the Word. Jesus said very clearly He will lead you into ALL truth. The entire new testament was written after they received the Holy Spirit. Not before. Be filled with the Holy Spirit.
What an anointed message. I absolutely received the message God had for me in this sermon. I thank God.
- Value your relationship with Christ outside of the function you play in the body of Christ.
- The more you focus on your personal relationship with Christ and you are not concerned with how people perceive you, the better your heart is positioned for God to use you to do amazing this through you and you are not just chasing after works but you are just surrendered to God to be His vessel to use.
- Following the will of the Spirit means sometimes what He tells you won’t make logical sense(human understanding) e.g the prophetic acts but the important thing is to do it because He says you should do it.

Whorship is not just some feeling you get, it’s about your walk with Christ on the earth. Loving God and loving your neighbor. That’s true worship!
I feel the more child like we become as adults the more we are able to believe God for who he is. God wants to do things in our lives but people don't ask, don't believe, don't just don't, and its that were God sighs and says why do you think you know it all? Why do you think you can analyze my word as if its not alive? Things that are alive breathe, feel, have freewill, can change. Yes God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. ALIVE!!!! Able to change. His character is the same! We limit him and we are the ones content with our circumstances of defeat, death, disease, etc. We have the power of the living God in us and he is just waiting for us to dare to get to know him and love him and let him love us. A real relationship that we will say and do things that we will believe are mistakes but the other part of that relationship is no mistakes, ultimate love, forgiveness. Awe man if I could only grasp myself that relationship my flesh would just die and I would give up everything for that treasure in the field...Real words.

... he didnt say that did he? I suppose then, it's safe to say, this is what Paul referred to, to the Corinthians as, another gospel; or what Christ Jesus called, bad fruit.
God is all about fellowship, relationship, community, even in the trinity. He wants relationship with us, time, not theology with us (although theology is obviously core, many seminary students lose or struggle with faith and relationship when they dissect the word under a microscope, as an academic study).

Theology is imperative to our relationship with God... if we don't study and get to know the Word... our relationship with God is only as good as what "we" want it to be... not what He says it should look like.
@@josephbrack4603 100% agree, the Word of God is central, but with that as our pattern or framework, in relationship we sometimes use non-formal language (think of a parent and tiny child babbling at each other) or affectionate nicknames etc to talk to each other. God isn't a distant or theoretical father, He's close and loves spending time with His children. Different generations use different language to express the same ideas (thinking of the 'downloading' ref) but that's ok. I guess I'm saying we need both perspectives GBY x

Yes, God wants a relationship with us and that's why Jesus endured brutality and a slow torturous death on the cross so we can have reconciliation with God in the dignified manner He set forth in the scriptures. The disgusting abuses of the Holy Spirit, and the completely unscriptural teaching is not of God and has a shoddy foundation. If the seminary student backs out of preaching because he has to know whom He has believed, then preaching is not meant for him. The reason these "pastors", "apostles", and "prophets" want you to accept babbling is so their lack of understanding and wisdom isn't so noticeable. If you wise up, they lose money and prestige.

I still remember... when I saw Kelley on stage during baptism service. She was singing "Spirit Move"... and I was able to join in worship with this song. How I saw Jesus on stage...just enjoying this song. And He's walking on stage and as she bows on her knees He's touching her head. Then He faces the audience in a posture of receiving everyone's singing. Then He lifts His arms up and He is in worship to His Father.

We do not have to sacrifice our understanding. God GAVE us understanding through His word on purpose so we can know Him and have understanding. We don't sacrifice that, we compare everything to it. If our head shaking doesn't line up with scripture, it is not of God or the Holy Spirit. Stop doing it. God does not override His own words. That's bringing God down to our level.

It translates “faculty of the mind for perceiving, understanding, judging”
It’s not using the five senses. It’s using the mind to judge and perceive.
She didn't say that we use or five senses to hear what God is saying. She was just giving an example

Please, if you are a worship leader, please do not give into whatever feeling arises. I have served many years, 20 years, leading worship, and singing in church choirs. The Lord is complete peace and love. The presence of the Holy Spirit is all things good. Anything other than focusing on completely being in His presence, there is nothing more important. The Holy Spirit, the Lord, is love, and peace, and joy, and gentleness, and self-control. If what you are feeling is not all those things, then you are not feeling the Holy Spirit, but rather either, your own emotions, or demonic influences. As worship leaders we must be a vessel. Choose who you will serve. Be careful of false teachings. Be in the Word. My heart is broken by the state of what the world thinks is worship to our Lord and Savior. Oh Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.

I had the opposite 'feeling' within that first minute. I felt like I could laugh at this stupidity. God wanted a friend?? The Trinity is complete and coherent and have no need for created beings. We are in need for Him and His Grace, not the other way around.

“God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” 1 Cor. 14:33. There is nothing biblical about closely following the manifestations of one’s feelings”. There is a lot of cherry picking of scriptures & not measuring them against one another. I encourage everyone to study “Kundalini Awakening” or the “Kundalini spirit”. It very closely mimics the Holy Spirit. There is a reason that the Holy Spirit is referred to as the still, small voice.
Just study the Bible and get to know the Lord. That's how you learn who he is and what he's saying.

The past sentence is for the religious on here that were like the people of Samaria that Phillip preached to that received the word, was baptized, wherr demons screached out of them but didnt receive the Holy Spirit until Peter and John heard about it and came to them to receive the Holy Spirit. So you can receive the word and even get baptized but not filled with the Holy Spirit. Oh by the way what word did Phillip give them? Phillipians? 1 Corinthians? Revelation? Romans? Acts? Maybe the first part. Phillip gave them Jesus.

If we can “sense” God why do we need the Word? Why refer to the Bible in passing? It IS His word to us. How can we really depend on our feelings? That’s a gateway to hearing other voices and doing things that don’t make sense as though nonsense has to be from the spirit.

Women CAN teach men nowadays. In Corinthians it only sais for women to stay quiet because back then women were not allowed to have education of any kind. Means that if they spoke they didn't know about what. Today women are allowed to read God's word and they are allowed to be taught things about Him. That's why they speak.
