There are books about that problem to better understand what your dealing with, a Smart therapist and processing for at least months I guess. For me religion is a huge help but of course there are days when it chases me. Also meditation helps because after a few months you develop an ability to watch your feelings and not being dragged down. Sorry for my english, doing my best ;)
