To help students of knowledge:- Ash'aree/Maatureedee creed: bi-yameenihee = "his power". Allah has no direction, His “uluww” or His "highness" is not physical, He is not within creation nor outside of it, and He does not touch it and does not exist connected to it from above. All of this requires a body for Allah and creates the visualization of a physical form for Allah. Atharee response: "bi-yameenihee" must not be translated into any other Arabic word and must be left as is to avoid distortion of the text. Allah has no body and cannot be visualized, and we pass over these verses as they came. Both opinions are from Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah. As for the Sheikh using his hand to demonstrate the meaning of the verse, this should be avoided and was not the way of the Salaf. Nor is it the way an experienced Atharee would explain the verse. And Allah knows best.
وجاء ربک و الملک صفا صفا تو اب کیا اللہ کے لئے مجیئت یعنی آنے کو ثابت کریں گے۔ پھر تو داخل ہونا اور مکان ہونا ثابت ہوگا۔ اگر مجیئت میں تاویل کرتے ہیں تو قبضتہ کو بلاتاویل کیوں قبول کرلیا۔ ہم اپنے ناقص عقل سے متشابہات کو نہیں سمجھ سکتے اس لئے اللہ نے متشابہات پر محض ایمان لانے کو کہا ہے اور اس کی تاویل میں پڑنے سے منع کیا ہے سورہ آل عمران کے شروع میں یہ آیات موجود ہیں۔
