I have this tv and am using my laptop HDMI connection instead of the Google tv app (for now). Like to know if I will have Dolby surround sound and 4 K Dolby viewing--or will this only happen using the Google TV setup? Just not sure of situation, although picture quality and sound are good--just not sure how good (if it would be better using Google TV). Thanks for info.
Think I'm gonna get this today.. 450 local for a 75 inch.. I have a over 6 year old sony bravia 65 now . I'm a sony fan but I'm not paying 1000+for a 75 inch
@URTechDotCa getting delivered tomorrow 🙌 got it at best buy 440$+tax free delivery .. Hopefully it's nice and a update from my 65 inch 8 year old bravia..
I have the cheaper R6 series and it works well with my 5.1 system and sony x700 disc player. I thought about upgrading but I think I'll wait till the next big technology is released😮 for the time being I do want to collect classic movies in 4k . My top 10 list is half complete
It's cool cheap enough for spare but not wow enough to switch from my Samsung 4k but the bezel is nice and thin and the 4th HDMI on the back is a canny surprise .
I have the 75 inch version of this. Only real negative I've found is it does have some light bleed around the edges of the screen that is noticeable when the screen is dark.
@@georgetsi1 Sound is good...I've found I don't even need my sound bar. Sun glare I'm not sure...my living room is relatively dark. Being the TV is only 350 nits, I'd imagine it would wash out fairly quick in an extremely bright room.
This TV does not play movies in 4K ultra. It's stuck at 480p (standard definition) I've been trying to switch it to 4K, and the option doesn't exist anywhere on the TV. Returning next week.
I do not mind the sound and I dislike the complexity/space of sound bars. There is a current Costco promo in Canada includes a 3.1 or 5.1 530 watt sound bar for about $70 but you have to order the TV and Sound Bar online; you can't get the bundle price at the warehouse
Get the google versoin. I just got the fire stick yesterday versoin yesterday, and some of the apps don't work at all. I'm also having issues with enabling 4K.
Dude I don't want to bust your balls but you stated that someone always wants to read the box. Good advice that you just didn't take😮. 7:30 Game Mode Plus with VRR. I'm thinking about starting a review channel. Seems like anyone can do it
Unfortunately unless you go up to U6 U7 and U8 series that has local dimming and has much more nits in brightness the quantum dot technology isn't really noticeable. I have the qd 5 series in a grandkids room and it isn't as good as my A7N in my kitchen that doesn't have quantum dot just wide color gamat. The tv you purchased is better than the bottom of the barrel Hisense tvs at Walmart but isn't going to come close to selection you can choose from at bestbuy.
I agree with your comment. I have several A6's and love them too. As I noted, at the end of the video Quantum Dot may be the best "mid-range" tech on the TV market, but I don't think it is worth very much more than a normal backlight TV like the A6
One thing I love is honest to good reviews like your video here. I have the 50’ version
Smart move to post during these holiday seasons 👏
Mine has light bleed, kinda bad, around the perimeter. Gonna need to return it and hopefully the 2nd one is better.
how big is the USB that is supported? can you plug in external HDD with your movie library?

That sounds like a great deal. You'll likely be very happy with it.

Is there a difference between the qd6 and qd7?
If it comes preloaded with google can you still add fire tv to it?
You can plug a FireTV device into one of the HDMI ports if you prefer that operating system.
@theuncreatedlight4717 ok thanks
How was it on the glare from the sun?
The main thing is true 4khdr,hdr10, hlg, Dolby vision and Dolby atmos that’s important for me

Costco has the fire tv version (65"; QD6) for $330 right now
i just got the QD7 for 429 (saved 120)
Wow that is a great price. I may have to check that out!
i’d go for the u6n
350 at mine deal lasts until tomorrow. May go pick it up.

How is it against sun glare? And how is the sound?

My Costco has this $329 with the firer tv going tomorrow.
I just got the qd7 a few days ago for 500
I just bought this tv but in 75” you should get a sound bar because the speakers suck

Costco's website says it has fire tv on not Google TV. Is that a mistake? I dont like fire tv, I am looking for a google tv instead.
which is better? the Fire TV or the Google TV version?

The qd5 has a brighter display than the A7n. Only thing A7 has better is motion blur.
@devinnichols1514 maybe the a7n looks better than the qd5 that I purchased

@@URTechDotCa either way Hisense is putting out great tvs and at budget prices across the board
this OS system look similar to my Sony :)
They both run Google TV
I can't trust anyone who likes the Vidaa operating system over Google. Lol.
