Yes, I started 2 other off camera saves on this map to get a feel for the map in general. It was more to test landscaping where I didn't have to worry about ruining a serious game save.
Good call for the reboot. Leave the other episodes on your channel. No need to delete it. The Grain Elevator Museum is a construction site. You bring planks and beams and cement and with that you renovate the museum. Good sell point as well. The only thing is, once the museum is finished, you can't go inside. I hope, Giants is gonna fix that.
I did a start very similar to the original series. Don't blame you on the restart it's a tough starting location lol forestry bugs and any slight incline make it tough to place buildings
Some default farms are workable, but you have to be able to get rid of useless buildings. Not sure why they did that in FS25. It frustrated me a lot on the first try at this series.
@@krustoo I can understand that, which is why, I kind of stopped trying to "build" a new farm and just use what's already in use. I too get frustrated with it.
Not sure on the front loader pronunciation but the marketing gold available to it makes me want it to be quick-E. "Nothing picks you up like a quicke!"
Respectfully, I don't know how you "DO IT RIGHT!" When you run out of money on the 1st hour of your restart. I started my 1st intro to FS 25 with a good guide, 100k and the base farm. Which, I agree, had advantages: tractor, combine, header, 2 tractors, cultivator, seeder, and outbuildings for storage. An unknown condition truck without a trailer is dead weight. Moreover, I see that some video farmers don't like to take contracts. I did nothing but take contracts in my 1st year, and maintain what was given to me with the starter farm, besides growing grass in the 2nd field. Did everything I could to get familiar with controlling tractors and implements (I still have problems today). However, through sound decision making, greenhouses and having a lot of passive income (windfarm). I have made over 500k in 3 years. I recently spent 125k on a medium windmill that will fund any other activities that I choose for my farm. I lease a lot of equipment to find out what works for me, and is worth the investment for the long term. Normally, if you find a good used deal check it at the shop after you buy you'll probably find it requires some repair to get it field ready.
Doing it right, to me, is the struggle to build up from scratch. I never play on New Farmer Mode. But that's the beauty of this game, so many ways to enjoy it! Good luck with your farm!
For the Survive 25 series, the series will last so long that the first several episodes will be largely irrelevant. I don't yet know how long Riverbend will last so I didn't like the start.
I really think the Deutz Fahr AgroStar 8.31 is the best starting tractor it has 230hp front and rear 3pt and only costs 89,500 the only draw back is it cant have a front loader and since it has a rear 3pt and 170hp the Merlo telehandler makes a good second tractor
I built my farm in the exact same area number 9 there is no fields there anymore it's animals and the buildings for the farm I even built my home for the realistic feel
Weeders only work if the crop is in the first growth stage. Those beans were in the final stage before harvestable so it wasn't working. I have had no issues with them in my playthrough and with steering assist I run them right behind the seeding and never have weeds. Too bad I can't market then as pesticide free and make extra money.
ROAR!! Be sure to harvest the like, roll a fresh comment, and plant a subscription to help grow the channel
Thanks for the shoutout 👊 I like that starting plot, the riverside one. Should make for some great views!
I haven’t watched any of the previous vids but enjoyed the reboot. Keep em coming.
Thanks!
Great episode, I think I redone this map twice before I brought my series out lol

Used vehicle flipping is a good way to make some quick cash.
Great episode, mate! I too am having a rough start on this map 😆 but, we will get there in the end! Looking forward to seeing more!
You have to make more video's for this series it is so fun I am waiting for more video's let's go you can do this
Thanks! Despite the bugs, I'm really enjoying FS25!

That was a really good start friend, your starting plot is brilliant.
It's a cool little hidden corner with lots of flexibility for development. I'm very happy with it!

I don't mind the "pre-determined" farms, I usually have issues trying to figure out the layout for all the buildings I want and need. Cheers :)

Floating water tower, que X-Files theme
Get a water buffalo, name him Rusty, lol
🤣😂
Good morning,👀🐕🐈☕☕👍👍
👋☕🚜 Good morning!
I had thought about restarting my Survive 25 series for a similar reason but decided to make a shift/change in flight. 😅

@krustoo I like the reboot for sure sir.
Collect the collectibles before rebuilding the museum. once you finish rebuilding it you can't go inside.
Really? That's whack
I would Repaint and Repair that Truck you got and make a few bucks off of it… 🤙🍁🚜🌾
Have you tried the new frontier map? you start from scratch and its basically just wilderness.
I'm reconsidering it after the 3-in-1 update. I like the forestry version. Trying to decide if I'll do a series on it.

I'll check it out. I didn't even know about that Deutz Fahr. Thanks for the tip.
Acter cutting down sooooo many trees to clear out space. I cant justify the 30 Hours of making wood chips to restart right now.
You should keep this one and don’t restart again. If something goes astray just struggle bus through it
Don't delete the other series! It allows us to learn what not to do.
Haha...you have a good point. Everything in me said to play the game a little before starting to record episodes, but I'm not that patient!
I built my farm in the exact same area number 9 there is no fields there anymore it's animals and the buildings for the farm I even built my home for the realistic feel
I was debating between the two fields for where to have the house/yard. Decided on the better river view!
I had the same problem with the weeder on a field when I started again, I had to spray in the end, must be a bug

Spraying is always easier, but more costly.
My first episode of the survival series went ummm… let’s just say mistakes were made
Couldn't check it out last night but I'll check it out later!
