"Don't be nervous" and Boom! and I'm now super confident. sigh! it doesn't work that way. Telling ppl not to just get nervous is not a tip. Everybody knows that.
I think feeling nervous is perfectly ok. I think the problem in nervousness lies in letting the nervousness take over your focus and damage the clarity of your presentation. If you're feeling nervous, I feel like it would be beneficial to let yourself feel nervous but maintain the focus on what it is you're trying to present.
It's perfectly normal to feel nervous. You can't help it sometimes. If we're at least better prepared for a presentation by *knowing what we're talking about* to an audience then it'll make it easier to talk with increased confidence and to answer any questions that people may have afterwards.
Point size depends on the type of font you use. Usually text sections are at least 24 pt size or higher. Titles can be 80 pts. If you are not sure then print out a sample of your font and pt size on a regular piece of paper and tape it to the wall and step back about three feet. If you can read it easily then you are probably okay (if not then adjust as needed).
He himself is very nervous which makes me confident
