with all the power the cars make now days, its a track insurance issue and for the safety of the racers, if youve seen a 1/4 mile pass lately with these drag radial cars, their skating all over the track by the top end, some of these drag radial cars makin 2000+ hp....... but yes 1/4 mile is way more exciting
BUT you saw don's crash ay the end, that's one of the few reasons they don't like 1/4 too much anymore excetp maybe once or twice a year. luckily all he got is a bad ankle out of that.
