Thats one of the best warriors ive. Ever see good work
Brice Hale thank You! A new vid to come soon. I changed up the front suspension and it has a badass 366 in it now.

Thats because he built it after he seen mine last spring on a yfm350 facebook page.

You know it’s among the very best,
However this beast is a redo,917 has been inspiring many including my build (THE UNFINISHED) which I started 5 years ago

Super sweet buddy
Lots of work right there, looking forward to seeing the 366 breath
Man she’s sharp looking, loving both versions👍👍
Michael Gates thanks! You lit a spark for me to get this thing finished again!
Giv'n some love to an '01 now .that's how I found ya! Thanks for the inspiration and education. Can't wait to see your 366 breath! Thanks again!
Mike.nelson Nelson the 366 is in and running awesome! I need to make an update bid asap. It's long over due. I've done a few changes since this video also. Glad you are inspired! Warriors are great quads!
Fair play that looks so right!!!
Thats the best looking warrior I've ever seen.
Great job
i love the monster lock 😍 but this yamaha is nice 👍 greetings from germany
this vid has given me inspiration to finish my 89 warrior /// THANKS //new sub...
freaking nice! I just picked up a 99 warrior 350 and love it! Its my first atv
Thank you. The warriors are awesome quads. Not the fastest but very reliable and easy to find parts for.
awesome bike man love all the fab work, ive got a 99 warrior, been having it for a while now very nice bikes.
The more I see that swingarm the more I wish I would have had you make me one instead of taking the Lonestar
I love that ladder look
Same I do all my own porting to just because I no we’re I could take a way to get more power the key is u can all way take more u can never give what u took away back also to take ur time and to a lot of reach search before u do any thing like that if ur reading this and are thinking of do it u really got to know the in and outs of how a Engine works and how porting it and take material away can make it make more power and run better have a good day and stay safe
That's one of the cleanest. And well put together Warriors I've Dean curious if. You could steer me in the right? Direction. For some front suspension not sure what else fits I have A02 Warrior. And my shocks are completely toast. Or do you know what other Yamaha shocks will fit?
In your opinion is the yoshi pipe worth the 500-600$ lol I’m running a bills pipe on it that came installed when purchased. I haven’t seen anyone with that particular pipe, just looking for a small gain in overall speed. Or would a fmf powercore be somewhat close in performance?
Thank you very much for all the info it really helps me out thank you for taking the time to reply have a good one looking forward to the next video
No problem! If your not already, check out the yamaha warrior 350 page on Facebook and the yfm350 page. Lots of sweet warriors and very knowlegable guys on there
How did you build the A arms???? Been wanting to do it for my warrior .
My worrior is a 2002 1 the new 1 and like the motor is flying no problem running rlly well but my plastics have been painted load of times the frame has a lot of surface rust and back brake don’t work stuff like that but I’m going to rebuilt it in a few weeks
Have any information on the front end you built? Any plans for any of this?
Hey, how does your big bear oil cooling set up work? Is it easy to install?
Very easy to install. I will sell it if your interested. I didn't see your message or I would have responded sooner
@917Jolly ik it's 3 years later, lol, but I'd be interested in the oil cooling set up if u still got it
I will for sure thanks
Is that a +2 steering stem on your warrior? I am doing a build on one and i like that look alot!!!!!
When you turn the bars, does that light bar move with the bars
My grandpa gave me his 2002 350 Warrior it’s black and white and the day I got it I already mastered wheelies
I have a 96'. Giving her a facelift and she looks great. I had a Yoshi on my 300ex I had and cousin had an hmf on his 400ex. My trx450r has FMF. How's that Yoshi sound on the warrior? Thinking I'ma end up sticking to Yoshi but curious as your thoughts. I rebuilt the carbs already, think I'd need to rejet for a Yoshi on these? Or would a tune suffice?
The Yoshimura is my favorite warrior exhaust hands down. You will definitely need to rejet for it
Was it expensive to rebuild??
What rear heal guards are those?
Is the Yoshimura pipe Direct Fit??
Where can I find that YOSHIMURA exhaust? Is it made for the Warrior or was it custom made? Please let me know. Thanks
They used to be made for the warrior but have been discontinued for a while. Keep checking eBay and market place, one might pop up.
How was your jetting
Do you still make swing arms? And if you extend the swing arm, what else do you have to replace? Chain, etc
Shawn Quinn I can but I don't extend stock swing arms, mine are one off custom setups. They use the Honda style lonestar carriers
love those a arms I have the same shocks I see you're post on a Facebook page some times
Greetings raptorrider
Scott’s quad is killer, here’s a link of mine, he did a swinger for it👍👍
ua-cam.com/video/cSGfdDULfjE/v-deo.html
where u get this neaf bar things
Hey I have a warrior and I don’t know where to buy some new tires for it, do you know where I can get some by chance?
I live in a woodsy town that has a ton of trails, but sometimes they will have really deep mud. Is this quad okay in the mud or should I get a 4x4?
It's as good as any other two wheel drive ATV. Get some good mud tires for the rear and if you know how to ride it it does just fine in the mud
917Jolly okay, thank you. I know how to ride, and I’ll just keep the momentum going when I go in the mud. Btw your set up is dope!
Elite Gmer yupp main thing is wheel speed and a good 22" mud tire and they do just fine. I have a set of Interco swamp lites on some gold wheels that I run when it's really muddy.
917Jolly thanks. I’m going to pick up one within the next couple of weeks so I’ll have time to decide the best tire to get. I’ll either get what you recommended or itp mudlites. I hope a $1000 warrior doesn’t turn out to be a pice of shit though
I just bought a warrior and i ordered a rear axle housing and front wheel bearings will that make my shake go away ?
Possibly? It could be a number of factors. Tires very unbalanced, very bad bearings ect
Hey man! I know this video is old so I hope you see my comment but my warrior is missing both headlights when I bought it, otherwise it’s in fantastic shape. I see that stock headlights are very expensive, and I see you have a light bar on yours. Can you provide a link to the one you bought with the clamps it has? And possibly any ideas about the headlights as I don’t have any? Thanks!!!
Just research 6" light bar on ebay. Mines just a 6" light bar thats a double row. The mounts I made using some scrap aluminum
what a arms and susspension you got on that
I made the a arms and swingarm. A arms in this video are +3 custom ones and the swingarm is a +3 custom with round lonestar carrier. Front shocks are yfz 450X and the rear shock is a banshee 350.
I need 1 of ur swing arms n would love a set of A arms aswel..im in Kentucky bub..lets work..
If you want you can hit me up on Facebook. Scott Hansen is my name. We can go thru the details. Although if going custom I would suggest my custom warrior/raptor 700 swingarm. Direct bolt on to the warrior frame and warrior suspension but uses the bigger raptor 700 carrier and all raptor 700, axle, hubs, brake, ect. The biggest benefit to this is the ease of getting parts since the 700 has parts available everywhere for relatively cheap.
Scott hansen on Facebook (black and white 700 cover photo) or 917jolly on Instagram.
Do they all stutter
What oil cooler u got
Were the brackets and led bar a kit or custom made?
The led bar is just one from eBay and the brackets are just some aluminum I had bent and drilled to fit.
Excuse my ignorance but to take the warrior to 366 only change the piston or also the cylinder
Where did you buy the radiator? Or where can I find it?
Wow then are the same with my warrior and are 366, is it very necessary the oil chiller? Excuse me, I'm new to this
Helluva nice warrior! Im looking into buying a warrior myself. Is there anything i need to know before i buy one? Im out of michigan so theres plenty to choose from in my area. But if you could shed some light on the situation id greatly appreciate it! Thanks for another great video!
YAMI FARMER warriors are damn near bullet proof. I would just try a d find a real clean one that you can tell has been maintained well. There really isn't any problems to look out for, these are one of the toughest quads ever made. Alot of times the cases are broke from a chain breaking. So keep an eye out for that. Other than that good luck and enjoy it.
alright great to know!! thanks so much for the advice!! if youre ever up near silver lake sand dunes let us know and we can get the whole group up there! definitely would make for a great video. until then, happy trails and good luck with the build! we're stoked to see it finished!
Thanks! Im glad its back as well. Ill get another video shortly of the 366 motor running, woring on getting it tuned in now.
Where did you get your handle bar set up with the gards and light bar
Joshua Spencer Motosport for the bars, the hand guards from eBay and the light bar Wal-Mart, I made the light bar mount.
Well i got a 97 warrior. Plan on getting a newer one but after getting into these quads... Lets just say that im addicted to them! If i could get a better way to contact you id love to order a swingarm if you could build another. Love the videos youre posting keep it up!
YAMI FARMER
Little FYI for you buddy, buying one of 917 ‘s swingers was and is by far the best thing I did for my machine(THE UNFINISHED) Scott’s work is crazy👍👍
YAMI FARMER
If you’ve an interest, here’s the link to THE UNFINISHED 396 Custom Yamaha Warrior, It showcases Scott’s(917) +3 swinger and my Stroker Warrior
Be well

Hi love the channel just subscribed I’m wondering if you could tell me what the pipe and airbox mod what exact jets and how many turns on the air screw mixture I am trying to Upgrade my 2004 warrior and I’m having trouble finding carbs settings really appreciate nice work man
Thank you! I haven't used a stock carb in several years but when I had a mostly stock 87 Warrior with a full exhaust and open air box I was running a 45 pilot jet with a 150 or 152 main jet depending on the season. Now my elevation is around 900 feet so if your elevation is a lot different then the carb could need different size Jets. It's not always a one jet size fits all kind of thing. As far as the air screw you're just going to have to turn it in and out until it sounds like it's idling nice and smooth. The needle is kind of your mid-range part of your tune up. So really you're just going to have to ride it around and adjust it to how you like it. Also don't buy a jet kit. Go to your local Yamaha dealer or a Yamaha dealer online parts website in order genuine Mikuni jets in the size I suggested or the size you need. Hope this helps and good luck
What kind of Yoshi Mira exhaust is it I can’t find it anywhere plz help
It's the yoshimura off road full exhaust with the stepped header. I'm pretty sure they stopped making them for the warrior. Keep searching ebay, they pop up for sale every now and then. Also a raptor 350 yoshimura exhaust can be made to fit with very little modifications.
How much for a swing arm and the control arms???
I'm not interested in making the a arms. The swingarms I charge 650. But you need the lonestar carrier #11-221 , which is hard to find.
Everybody’s waiting... I know soon lol👍👍
sweet build
@@917Jolly Hey do you think the cdi box is a good buy to make the bike a little bit more snappy???
What rear suspension are you running on this warrior?
In this video it was a custom +3 swing arm i made with a banshee shock. Now I have a +2 lonestar swingar. And a 2001 raptor 660 rear shock.
That’s my dream quad.
How hard is it to rebuild a top end on one of these I have one that needs it
Alex Kennell not hard at all. Get a clymer manual and they give you step by step
How much for the swingarm?
If you feel the difference being 366?
With all the motor work thats done to it yes its a big difference compared to stock.
@@917Jolly Wow then are the same with my warrior and are 366, is it very necessary the oil chiller? Excuse me, I'm new to this
I have a warrior also, what size are you back tires
917Jolly yours look dope! I’m waiting on my grips, led bar and shock covers to arrive now
@@Chevy_bandit thank you. I have several changes done to it since this video. I need to get another video made. They are fun
How do you recommend breaking in the engine
I give them a few heat cycles, on each heat cycle I ride around lightly. After that I change oil and ride it like I stole it
What’s your rear tire size your running?
@@917Jollyi have to do my top end and want to do a 366 kit. Where did you get yours i want to build similar. And do you recommend a cam as well? Thanks
How much to make me new controll arms
Where did you get the bumper?
It's a PRM summit bumper. Prm use to make warrior parts but has gone out of business.
Can you give me more details about oil cooler kit please?
I want to do same on my worrior 350
Sorry I never seen your comment! It's just the oil filter cover/adaptor from a 95 big bear. Just make sure it's the 2 peice oil filter adaptor, not the one peice. Then any heavy duty 3/8" hose, I like to use stainless braided hose and any type of trans cooler. Mine is a 4 row trans cooler from AutoZone. I now have a 4" spal fan with a shroud I made and it cools it like crazy
How much would u build me a set of plus 3 a arms what's ur charge
Jay Morrow I won't build a arms. They're are to time consuming to make. Thanks for your interest thou.
Can you send the link to the exaust link ?
They don't make them for the warrior anymore. Your best bet is to find one used
badass
Did you post this on facebook for 2,000?
No. I parted it out several years ago but kept most of the parts and built it back
Yeah man long time no see I need help with a set of a-arms for my tt600 warrior maybe if we keep bugging you you'll make them for us little people lol
The biggest problem with making them is ppl dont want to pay for someones hard work and skill. The a arms ar my least favorite to make, they are so very time consuming to get the angles right.
917 builds some incredible parts
Here’s a link to my build which he did a killer swinger for
ua-cam.com/video/cSGfdDULfjE/v-deo.html
Yoo man bad ass warrior!! That thing is sweet. do you still build warrior swing arms? Been talking to mike g and ed t a bunch about what all I should do to mine. Def let me know I'd like to get to shoot the shit with ya. Thanks
At the moment i dont habe any extra time to build much, as im in the middle of a complete paint job on my wife's 93 mustang. Thanks! The warrior is a fun machine. I need to make a new video.
I have a red 400ex and a red warrior 350 and I must say the Honda wears it better.
Damn
Willing to make me a swing arm like yours
Nice video i like the warrior cant wait to see it with the big bore go check out my youtube i have a 1993 warrior that is going to undergo a full restoration this summer.
Robert Noyes 350
917 Warrior is and has been inspiring to lots of Warrior builds not to mention his fab work is crazy. Here’s a link of a project he helped with👍
THE UNFINISHED 396custom
ua-cam.com/video/cSGfdDULfjE/v-deo.html
It's a engine not a motor
what is your shocks i want to do a upgrade on the 3 shock thanks
What rear shock are you running?
Where can I find a decent one I love Hawaii and can’t find anything! Is there a site you’d recommend or try buy a used shock off eBay?
@@917Jolly sweet okay thank you! And your build is so sick! And you do all your own fabrication which is even more dope!
That thing is sweet man. I grew up in the 80s and 90s so I appreciate these old beasts. I remember when these were the big dog 4 strokers...man things sure change.
rzl07375 thanks these are one of the toughest trail quads made.
917Jolly Yes they are for sure. Im looking for one right now myself. Im 40 now and trying to get back into sport quads and just want a tough dependable machine. Ive had 450s and most of the 2 stroke racers and Im ready for a more trail friendly platform, just hope I dont get to bored with the power but I do plan on some mods so should be good.
rzl07375
The Warriors have a special place in my heart well all of us builder hearts, have a peak of my 396Custom, Scott’s(917)swing Arm and lots more
Enjoy 👍

Michael Gates / THE UNFINISHED For sure man. I remember being at a riding area and a Warrior showing up with a Supertrapp exhaust and it was a big deal lol.
