Thank you so much Gopa sir & Sagar sir for this very important & informative video. I have 2 doubts although not related to new rating system but for initial rating where many unrated players must be affected. 1) First is about un-played games. Sometimes some rated players quit the tournament in between specially if they are losing some points. So, for unrated player in last 1 or 2 rounds if his rated opponent doesn't turn-up then that point is not counted for rating calculation. In this case the point should be counted & initial rating be given to that player. 2) In case of Rapid tournament, if opponent has std. rating but not rapid then as per rule his std. rating is considered as a rapid rating for that tournament but only for pairing, not for rating calculation. His unrated opponent's initial rating calculation doesn't consider the score against such so called rated opponent. These 2 points should be considered by FIDE & appropriate changes should be done. Please suggest.
In Vietnam, we don't even care about FIDE rating because there simply isn't any FIDE-approved tournament nor anyone cares about classical chess. 5+3 and 10+3 time control is standard for most amateur tournaments where you can to play 7-9 opponents.
What if I am carrying a mobile phone and switch it off and place in pocket? I am going participating in my first tournament and don't know what to do with my phone during game, can't leave it at home😅.
Thank you so much Sagar and Gopa sir ! However I have 1 question. In the data table you showed for the players' ratings before march 2024, the conversions made as per new rating regulations only for the ratings below 1400. How about the ratings above 1400 (i.e. for all those below 2000 who had also faced rating changes after March 2024) ? In the data table their ratings are taken as such despite they faced change of their ratings in march 2024.
So, if I scored 2 points out of 5 rated opponents in one single FIDE rated tournament and my performance rating is 1240, then what is the avarage rating my opponents are required to have so that I get a FIDE rating?
Dear sir if one player played 25 games but rating not opened if he is not play games further 26 month. Then he is like to play on 27th month now old matches records will be carry over or not

I mean yes you can but it's not right to do so. let's suppose I'm 16 and i want to make my career in chess it's nearly impossible to do so because generally players start from 8-10 age and if you get an opponent who is also 16 of age but there's still a difference, he is playing since 6 years and you've just started playing from few months. And if you convince yourself that I'm a better learner i can still defeat him it's simply not possible because you now are better than your 6 months old version likewise the player gets experience and skills on the time he spent. Another thing you also can't keep playing for 6-7 years cause you have to feed your family and to earn money so that's why think upon it
Hi sagar I have one doubt if I have played 6 games (all are rated opponents) there ratings are 1400, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1850 then also should be add hypothetical rating for calculation??
Thank you so much Chess Base for getting me addicted to this wonderful game!
Is the answer... "Play in FIDE events"?
Yes
Always
And beat 1400 rated player
Can we play in Fide events without fide rating ???

Thanks to my daughter sir -Abhishek sir for sharing this valuable video
Very useful and much needed video. Thanks a lot. Look forward to the video about details of rating changes for rated players.
Very well explained sir !!🙏
Well explained. Thank you very much for this.
Very informative.. thanks a lot
Thank you sir explained very well.
Why is the initial rating calculator on FIDE's website not updated in accordance with the new regulations? It's still using the old formula.
Excellent reporting by decent anchor n panelist
Finally some clarity on the new regulations. It was creating total chaos. Thank you Sagar and Gopa sir❤!!!!
Waiting for rating the next part..

Not true. I played in a classical fide rated tournament in Hanoi last month. Many players and all were very eager to improve their FIDE rating.

problem is, chess tournaments only focused on some cities, FIDE AICF need to focus on C & D tier cities too
otherwise you are not went to grow chess

thanks for your anti India comment
This month my son played with 6 rated player their average is 1456 and he scored oly one point will he be rated by aug
Hi! Thanks for explaining about this, does the performance rating also needs to be above 1400?
Getting an initial FIDE rating is one thing, mainting your FIDE rating over 30 games while your K factor is still 40 is another...
It has become tougher now😅
Super
20:15 - Very nice explanation sir. But, when I entered the values (1568,4.5,8) in FIDE online calculator then it gives 1588, not 1611. Please suggest.
Anyway we can get these slides?

Do we need to make a fide id before playing the tournaments 🤔
I have same question
No aicf I'd needed

i played a tournament... got 4 out of 9 from which 1 i got from rated player and faced 5 rated same day... will i get fide rating
What's your rating

3) Nf3

D5
Kn6 and e6 second movie if you play queen Gambit
Well explained. Can a senior (age 50+) get a rating too?
Ye
WOW
In 1st tournament 6 rated player i got 1 points but rating not coming.
Its possible that your performance rating was below 1400...
If you explained the rules with hind words video must be get short and understanded by all😅
Sir if i played against 5 rated player and defeated one
so how many more rated games i have to play or win against a rated for a fide rating?
Have to make one draw
I have one doubt I go a fide competition out of 5 rated players I get a half point on last match I need to count before 4 match or not
If in the same tournament, then yes
Thank you
Very confusing.
But how to get the FIDE ID?
You have to play fide taurnament
