Finally caught a few specks tonight via yak. Been surf fishing alot, and catching nothing but a tan. This time last year I was slaying em on the beach.
GM !! Great outing & wowhere as scenic with Vehicles roaring by 40 ft away but, Bucketmouths & Peacocks are willing on Red Road Canal , a short walk away from Home in Hialeah , Fla.
I was about to comment, if u don't have any luck at blackwater, I use a weightless watermelon seed fluke, best bait for me out there. There's a lot of fish in blackwater, but they move around alot. Good luck sir!
Just subscribed man . I live in Milton and so far have caught one hard head catfish in over five years . LOL Have a boat now and still catch nothing . Good side is the beer is cold when I get home . Good fishing Sir . I know this video is three year old but I just found your channel so Checking out these places I know and have tried to fish . LOL
Hey, love the vids! Do you know what shorelines have fiddler crabs? I want to catch my own = if you know would be a great video! I live in the area and don't want to pay for crabs.
All Ive ever caught in Black Water are pickeral. Some big ones too probably over 5 pounds, but just not my thing. Ton of mullet in there if you can cast a net well from a boat.
Nice pickeral.... I never catch those on my side of the state. What camera are you using? I see the GoPro harness but in some of your shots I see AF popping.
I Just moved to Milton I can't wait to fish down here. I just need to get out and get after it. don't know anyone or what to fish with. If you ever need a partner I'm down been watching you since before I moved down.
love the vids Dee!! Also, there's another fishing/boating/cooking/lifeliving channel that has a video on how he gets paid. You probably already know this but just in case, check Out On the Reef for the income video. Keep it up and get money!!
There aren’t any public lakes in Pensacola, but there are a few ponds around town that the neighbors will let you fish. Typically I get on google maps and locate ponds and drive around and try them out. If you want to fish a public lake from land, I’d recommend Lake Stone out in Century, Fl or Bear Lake just north of Holt, Fl.
@@VitaminDeeTV I've fished the Bear lake, but not lately. Seem a few fisherman catching past their legal limit and not long after it's like nothing was left. I haven't been back in three years, hopefully it's been restocked by fish and game.
Yo. There is nothing like getting to the lake and feel it waking up. Thanks D
They hit hard out there, it's awesome fights

Keep doing your thing bro... 💯
In that dark colored tannin water you should try a texas rig with electric blue oe blue feck by berkley.
Weighted worm hook with a dark purple fluke is the only bait I have had real success with in that area.
What brand of fluke ?

Fresh water is tough around here. Once you figure it out, it’ll become a lot more fun! Look up Cooper Basin on Blackwater river and go catch ‘em!!!
@@VitaminDeeTV You mean Cooper Park downtown ? I will check out Cooper Basin Sir , Thanks .
@@handsonwithblg4949 cooper basin.

Agreed!
Those pickeral or Jackfish as I call them are one of the better fish to eat if you know how to prepare them
I was have used Crank baits and finesse worms ! They always work !
This time of year you ought have brought an ultra light and tried for some crappie.
Nice vid! Just came across your channel because we are heading up to CP launch tomorrow!
Do you fish for crappie at all? One of the best eats out there. Just as good as a lot of salt water fish.
I haven’t done any yet. But I plan on it.
i live in the Milton Area and i need a spot where i can get a lot of bites any suggestions?
Florida state record Jack fish is only 7 pounds. I know bigger are in Blackwater! Don't give up on that basin brother!
