  • From a massive machine, to some small antiques, and even trolleys, lets look at the railroad displays at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI
    Around railroads, never be complacent and be aware of your surroundings, be wear of anything that can happen.

    Looks like a fun day..... Funny seeing the early McDonalds "Speedee" mascot reflected in the window of the Cross Town Line horse drawn trolly (6:05 -- 6:13) Nice touch......

      But it still was a nice touch.... Have you ever been to the oldest McDonald's? It's at 10207 Lakewood Boulevard in Downey, it still has the original 60's look.@@nates.vintage.trains

    We need to be the BLE 154 back to Pennsylvania. - The Bessemer saved three locomotives for preservation, 154, 643 and Union 304. IRM bought it from the Bessemer in the 80a, and the traded it to the Henry Ford museum for a DT and Ironton 4-4-0 #16 in 1991.

    The 2-6-6-6 H8 Allegheny Was The Last Articulated Locomotive Designed BY Lima Locomotive Works Between 1941 And 1948 The Chesapeake & Ohio Ordered 60 OF These H8 Allegheny Giants 1601 Has Been IN That Museum Since 1965 IT Took 3 Tries TO Carefully Move IT Into The Museum And The Other Surviving H8 Allegheny IS The 1604 Which IS Currently ON Silent Display AT The Baltimore And Ohio B&O Museum IN Baltimore Maryland The Allegheny And Blue Ridge Articulated Locomotives Are MY Most Favorite IN Any Steam Locomotive Design

      Number 1604 was at the Roanoke Transportation Museum until floods ruined the tracks. 1604 was moved quite a bit by the water.

    IN June OF 1953 C&O Allegheny 1642 Had A Violent Boiler Explosion Killing The Crew Inside The Cab I Think IT Somewhere Around Hinton West Virginia Something Like That But Can’t Remember
