Ha ha, great videos… love Pefkos, have been going for 14 years now and it always delivers… as you say it’s very safe there too which is so important..beers and burgers is always a great day out for kids of all ages too…Fops is always fantastic for info and the members are brilliant and so helpful… glad you enjoyed your holiday to pefki, and of course I’ve subscribed too 🤩🤩🤩🇬🇷🍺☀️

Holidayed in Pefkos from circa 1996 until 2016 at least 30 times. Stopped going as every scrap of Greekness went out the window. Great for people who like every single thing English - but in the sun.
I've been going since 2003 and love the Matina. Pefki has changed over the years, and it's not like our little piece of paradise it once was. 😢. It's getting to commercial now so i tend to go in May and October when it's quieter.
Anyone expecting an authentic Greek experience by staying in Pefkos,will be sorely disappointed. Pefkos has been built around tourism full stop.The restaurants offer a watered down tourist menu,no where near, good value authentic Greek cuisine. The main beach is rammed full to breaking point of sun beds.I fully realise,as with life,its horses for courses ,some will love Pefkos,others will not
Sorry it wasn't your cup of tea, Bit gutted you didn't enjoy yourself as from experience I've always had a lovely time. But I do understand that's it's not for everyone. Hope you're future holidays are fab
@@kerryhasler1 hiya,we didn't by any means have a terrible time.This was the first time ,in many years ,that we did a package holiday. Usually we book flights car accommodation independently,and make our way around what ever area we are visiting. Last year was really expensive,and the thought was ,if this year holiday got cancelled,chasing up refunds would be time consuming,hence choosing package tour.On that point though its worth mentioning,or though it was booked as an EasyJet holiday,EasyJet fly you there,but transfers are through a separate company,hotel accommodation was also separate and nothing to do with EasyJet. So if anything had gone wrong,you still were dealing with three different companies,worth taking into consideration. Anyway I hope you took no offence to my comments,it wasn't in anyway a slight on your holiday. Regards Angus
its like going to mallorca nd order english breakfast :D omg... some people are just crazy.... afraid trying good food..get of your resort.. enjoy your meal
I've always stayed on the other end of the island, but Pefkos does seem intriguing. Although as a solo traveller your not always made welcome in restaurants, as you take up a whole table by yourself. Has any other solo travellers tried Pefkos?
Like the video and good reviews, but can't say Pefkos is a budget holiday, you got an absolute steal for £1300, lucky to get there for that price per person in high season! Matina Hotel is in the top 3 most expensive hotels there, all u need in in Pefkos for accommodation really is a bed and a shower !
Went a few years ago, stayed at the Matina. Greek Story was the best place we ate and the only one we got a free pudding (which is normal everywhere else in Greece I've been for nearly 40 years so I was a bit surprised not to get it in Pefkos ). Shame you weren't impressed. Nice enough place but a bit too English for me.
Ahh i will have to try it again if we go back. Yes i know what you mean re the English, we have just been to Santorini, gosh it is beautiful there. So many lovely places in Greece xx
Pefkos is a great place been 7 times was there early August maybe we will try somewhere different next time but once you get the buzz it's hard not to keep going back.

Love Pefkos, we go at least once a year. Got a private villa booked for this year for a special anniversary 🥂🍾🎉

myself and my family stayed in Finas apartmanets in Pefkos. what a beatifull place... the sea aegean see is the best..better than carribian.
