nah, when I play as shadow I do everything possible so that the exe does not harm my teammates, and I even revive them most of the time (with the advantage that with my dash I can escape quickly)

we need more protecters like this if i join any server always tails misses his shot and amy suck at aim hammer throw and only shadow and knux are perfect protecters shadow has a perfect tackle and knux has punch that and also egg man never misses he is the easiest charecter.
i use shadow and i can say shadow for me is very op, i usually tackle exe then dash away so i can buy some time or get away quick when i fail to hit exe
Idrk how to give tips lol, but I will say is to not spam jump when being chased. It has a delay and only use it when you need it. For characters like shadow or knuckles and the exe tries to juke your attacks, wait for him to jump he has a jump cooldown as well. You can also sike him out with Eggman to waste time

Id say knuckles, shadow, and Eggman are the best protecters. I see Amy as a looping type and tails needs to stay far away but not too far
