Can anyone please help me with this problem. I need at least 7.5 ft clearance from ground where it makes the u turn. Because the space below after the u turn is a passage. Can anyone tell me the dimensions for this staircase. How many steps needed before making u turn. What is the minimum horizontal distance needed before u turn and other things. And also I need 7.5 feet clearance from the steps to the roof where u turn begins. As i need to build above half of the U stairs. Is this Possible ?

form making landing at 7' you need to give min 12 riser @ 7" high (7"x12 = 84") and for story height 10'6" you will prove 18 riser total that means 12 on one side and 6 on another side (for u shaped)
if taken tread as 11" then (11*12 = 132") 11' will be the length of one side
