would love to see how you do your work so other people can learn from your videos. even stuff like shining the metal faucets or how you repair water damage would be really interesting to see. great content so far and waiting for new uploads

Perfect size with everything you need. Could easily take a long trip with this one. A little repair and good to go.

I'm glad I found this video. I have a '71 Shasta SC and it does NOT have the original rear layout (the front is in great shape and exactly the same layout as this) and I've wanted to see how the layout should look so I can replicate it.

Been trying to nail down exactly what make and model I want to try to find. This Shasta 16SC is it. Perfect for a family of 3 to spend lots and lots of weekends in! Thanks for the tour! New subscriber from Indy!

Love this camper. I own a 1976 1600 that is almost identical to this but needs more work than this one. It is kind of hard to find information online about my model. I would love to send you some pics of mine and get some more info from you about Shastas. You seem really knowledgeable about older camper so I would appreciate your advice lol

I just upgraded from a Compact to a LoFlyte, not self-contained though. I’ll be in PA this summer, I’ll try to stop in for repairs. Mine has the dinette in the front, no closet or bathroom. I’m totally going to start saving to upgrade to this one . :-) maybe you can take mine as a trade in?

we call that a night stand or end table. I'd say 4 to 5 people. I never expected you to open the door and it looked so. I'm impressed with the condition all the way around. WOW! The top bunk looks big enough for two is it?

Funny how once people said oh thats a nice floor then it became ugly , lets cover it with carpet then years later its beautiful again ....

I like looking at old trailers like this but to me they are impossible to get comfortable in and that's a total deal breaker for me. Zero comfy places to sit and spend a cold rainy day in the unit and its too cramped too in my opinion. I kind of get why people like them, especially young people who can handle being uncomfortable, especially if it means being fashionable lol but its just not for me. I've owned 5 different campers over 20+ years so I'm speaking from experience in spending a lot of time inside a wide range of different style of campers. This unit looks seriously uncomfortable in its current set up. The awning closing up against the windows doesn't look right either, someone clearly put that on much later as I don't think those even existed in the 70s. Cool unit to look at though lol.

Yea, my ocd was kicking in when the arms of the awning are blocking the side windows. Probably NOT an issue, but visually, I want to open the windows regardless of the awning position.

Its a water heater, not a hot water heater, you don't heat hot water because its already hot.
