I love it because the steps are so easy to follow and you explain them so especially because sometimes I forget what to do next and it really helps make learning braids so much fun.
Due to thw fact that my father always loved my hair I've always kept it long. Now that he isn't with us anymore out of love for him and respect for his memory I've continued to leave it to grow, going so far as to no longer keep the length at my waist. The result is hair that's to the middle of my thighs. For years I've had 2 hair styles, down and a messy bun, with the occasional French braid for special occasions. Being so long and thick I could no longer make anything else look decent. A few months ago I came across one of your video's and with a mind full of doubt I gave a few looks a try. With a few little tweaks, a bunch more pins, and ponytail holders I am able to style according to mood and event now rather than utility and it takes less time than ever before. So I just want to say thank you. Loving my Daddy as much as any other Daddy's Girl out there I was close to taking a foot or so off because of the hassle. Thanks for helping me to continue to honor my father in a way that always made him smile.
I love the braids! I want to learn these tricks to style my hair. I'm 65 and have hair that is a little past my collar bone. I've let it go grey and I'm proud of the color. With these braid tutorials I can now find new ways to style it! You're so talented. Thank you for the inspiration!
I love to sit and watch your video tutorials and I love how you explain every step for young learners to har braiding masters. you go girl and nothing can stop you!!
I love these hair styles but they only really work when you have blond hair with black roots. I tried all these hairstyles and they look nothing like the way they looked in the video cause I have brown hair

Hello Abby! The reason why I would love this book it's because I've been braiding ever since I was 11 years old and I learned everything (and keep learning) from you! I'm the hairstylist of the family and sometimes I can't come to UA-cam all the time so it would be great to have a to-go book with me. My best regards, Ana
This would be a great gift for my cousins. They love doing their hair. Each day I have always wanted to try something new with my hair. Something different, so this helps me!
I would love this hairstyle book! My oldest sister used to always do my hair for me. Before school and school dances and cheer events. She passed away 4 years ago and I miss her so much. I could finally teach myself some styles! Love your videos beautiful :)
SAME well it looks beautiful on black hair because it’s usually shiny and stuff but when it’s like a shade or to lighter than blacks it like I can’t do anything with it

My wife broke her left shoulder and right hand two weeks ago. So...I now do her hair each morning before she goes to work. She is getting tired of the standard pony tail so this site is really helpful. My wife's hair is shorter than yours, and I have no idea what I'm doing, but we'll get there. Thanks for making each step easy to follow.

Hi Abby! I would love your book because when I’m older I want to be a hairstylist! I’m only 13 years old, but so far I’ve done hair for weddings (even a brides!) Halloween parties, and dances! I would really love to find more cute hairstyles in your book! ❤️
I may not have black hair but, I do have long thick wavy hair. I believe you can probably get away with it. Your braid and or messy hair buns might just come out thicker then her hair. Sometimes what really helps sooooo much is straightening it first before styling it. I know its an extra step for us curly/wavy girls but it helps us have better control of our hair!!! At least for me anyways. just try it and see what happends with or without a straightener. Why not give it a try and see where you hair styling adventure takes you? Never know, you may love it!
@@jakemiller8104 you're welcome also im sure you prob know this but because your hair is thick all you need is a hair scrunchy and it just automatically holds your hair in place without looping it over twice like alot of girls have to. The beauty of having thick hair sometimes. Lol
I love that you didnt just say "do a french braid* you described what you were doing when you needed too so even begginers like me can enjoy cute hairstyles. Youre obviously a professional, and deserve much more exposure
I would love that book cuz I do my daughters hair all the time every day so I'm always open to new idea to new hairstyles for her I also could use new ideas for me I'm pretty bland with my own hair is be excited and thankful for new hairstyles and I like your ideas...
Hi Abby, congratulations on ur new book. I would like to win one, because I am looking for great Hairstyles daily. I'm a Navajo woman with long black hair. Just imagine ur Hairstyles done with black hair. I live in the four corners area, it is beautiful here but not many places to find hair inspiration or help with styling. I hope to win ur book. I promise that I will use it everyday. When I get those compliments I will be sure to tell them where I got the idea and where they can get a copy of ur book. Thank u and merry Christmas.
Abby, I'd love to have your book to give to my 70 year old mom. Several reasons. She's been suffering from a horrible skin disorder for about 15 years which hurts her SO much and messes up her life (and her hair) in the following ways: ● The disease, which they can't figure out, itches and burns severely but the medications the drs have put her on have thinned her skin so badly that scratching it tears her skin like paper. Even sleeping, moving around in bed rips her skin and she wakes up in puddles of blood. ● For these reasons, and because any and EVERY chemical around burns her skin terribly, she cannot bathe or wash her hair. Shampoo and soap are torture for her. When she can no longer stand her own smell, she'll put on latex gloves and suffer thru the ordeal of bathing, but she suffers terribly afterward. Between not bathing and the cancer-causing, 'nuclear bomb' medications they have her on to try to control the skin disease, her hair is falling out. It's very thin and wispy now and she doesn't know what to do with it, so she wears it in a sad little gray ponytail like a 16-year-old cheerleader, lol. It looks silly on her at her age but she has no choice since she refuses to cut it short. So I'd at least like her to learn some new styles. ● My sister, her youngest of 2 daughters/kids, was found dead on the floor of her bedroom a couple of years ago. It killed my mom. I think it made even more of her hair fall. She's been very sad since. Last year sometime, her husband of 20 years died from pancreatic cancer. They weren't close, more 'companions in old age', but he was at least there for her and now she has no one. She lives alone. Even her cat died. I'm telling you, it's like a bad Lifetime movie. My mom and I aren't close, and I hoped my sister's death would change that but it didn't. Still, I try to help her as much as I can. I'm always looking for remedies for her skin and little things I can do to help her feel pretty again because her skin makes her feel ugly, esp since she can't wash it. I've given her home health, hospital grade, no-rinse perineal cleansers to use, which helps her a great deal (she has no computer or internet or smart phone - by choice - so she can't buy personal care things for herself unless she goes out) but a girl needs pretty hair to truly feel feminine. I've begged her to cut off her hair in a pixie style but she flat refuses. She won't let those few wispy strands of gray go! Help me help her, with your book, find a way to style her hair again so she can once again feel pretty like a woman? I'd sure appreciate it. Her name is Peggy. Her husband was Thomas Carroll of Oklahoma City. My sister was Heather Lynn Drapeau, A1C (Air Force). Her obit is still on Google, I think. Just in case you want to verify my story. I also have a photo of her skin if you'd like to see how awful it looks and why she can't wash her hair, because it's on her hands, which crack and bleed and burn. She looks burned in a fire even though she wasn't. Thankfully it's not yet on her face.
Omg I have your book mentioned here!!! Love it! And...get idea- to give the book as a gift!!! U just inspired me to get another for my 14 year old cousin- she’ll love it!!!
I would love to give it to my little cousin and her mom because she beat cancer and is growing her hair back, she is 8 years old and wants her mom to learn to do braids. It would mean the world❤️
I wish I knew about this 7 years ago when you posted this. Your book would be so helpful since I was never taught how to style hair except a ponytail and a simple braid on someone else.
Shoot. I wanted the free book because my mom said I’m too old for her to do my hair so I’m learning to do it myself but the hair tutorials on the internet are just too complicated and fast! But I guess I’ll just pay :(
I know this is a little late, but I just want to say that my sorority's annual formal was last night. The theme was Hollywood, and my hair is hard to work with, PLUS I don't get much practice doing anything but ponytails and braids and such. Anyways, I did the "topsy tail" one with a messy bun in the back. It was a little messier than how you did it, but I think it turned out great and elegant. Thank you so much!
Love braids! Im 56 years old with beautiful white hair. It’s halfway sown my back now so looking for great ways to wear it. Definitely going to use those 10 styles.
I would love it.... but I'm sadly two years late. Even tho imma say why I would love it. I wear one basic braid every day, excluding buns for dance. I would love to change things up and surprise my peers at schools that I know other hairstyles than your basic braid. Lol. Too late I guess.😁
I have frizzy curly hair so every time I try my braid my hair or anything else my frizz hides all the good assets of the style. (Ps excuse my mistakes I'm sure someone will point out)
How am I just now discovering your Vlog?! I’m so in love with all of these styles! I work in an office and these are super cute and perfect for work! Can’t wait to rock one of these styles tomorrow! 😍

2, Its realy curly.
3, And its extreamly long.
Never know,you may love it!
@@crystalanne-lynne5554 Thank u for ur advice i will try
@@jakemiller8104 you're welcome also im sure you prob know this but because your hair is thick all you need is a hair scrunchy and it just automatically holds your hair in place without looping it over twice like alot of girls have to.
The beauty of having thick hair sometimes. Lol
@@RU-yr8wu she could of just dyed it blonde?
Never know!🤷
Rock it natural girl! Curly black hair is goregeous.
Kris-T Kris-T I’m Native American too and the tribe Navajo do u know Chinle or Window rock
I just cut 2 inches of my hair off today, I cut two inches off 2 months ago and it grew out really fast.
Abby, I'd love to have your book to give to my 70 year old mom. Several reasons. She's been suffering from a horrible skin disorder for about 15 years which hurts her SO much and messes up her life (and her hair) in the following ways:
● The disease, which they can't figure out, itches and burns severely but the medications the drs have put her on have thinned her skin so badly that scratching it tears her skin like paper.
Thankfully it's not yet on her face.
so fake
Slay Daddy how do u kno
Slay Daddy so rude
If this is 100% real then I really hope your mother gets better. I will pray for her💕💕
Jonsa Lyn praying love..
Omg I have your book mentioned here!!! Love it! And...get idea- to give the book as a gift!!! U just inspired me to get another for my 14 year old cousin- she’ll love it!!!
I loved the knots near the end. Probably my favorite style.
I would give it to my grandma so she could enjoy doing her hair and living young again
I love the way you kind of just give a positive energy (bad English). I just sat and smiled like the entire video for no particular reason😁
I LOVE your hairstyles you’re so cool at school the other kids love it so much to! I hope that I get that book it is so awesome!!!
You have beautiful coloured eyes xx
Her: “braid”
Me: *laughs in dumb*
Me: messes up every braid
Her: 10/10 braids pefect
8:50 2:37 These are my favourites! I used the bun for school and the ponytail for summer
I really want a copy of the book for my mum because she has always wanted to learn different braids so she can be a hairstylist xx
I wanna try these

If you have dark hair will black elastics work?
Yes
MrsJuggaletteforlife Well you shouldn’t be showing the elastic hair tie, so yesss.
Yeah duh
Shoot. I wanted the free book because my mom said I’m too old for her to do my hair so I’m learning to do it myself but the hair tutorials on the internet are just too complicated and fast! But I guess I’ll just pay :(
How old are you
Kena Caudle I’m in fifth grade
@@papaya1019 I do my hair bye my one from 2th grade (I think) I'm no at 4th grade
Umm I cant do my hair and I'm in 9th grade
I found just practicing works wonders. You will have to do it a lot, but it’s worth it.
I would love the book. I am always looking for fun new hair styles
I would have it because my mum has no time to do my hair because she works all day so I do my own hair and I can only do ponytails
Rebels Channel same
Rebels Channel same that’s the only thing I can do
I can braid pretty well on OTHER people, but when I try on myself my arms start aching to I end up giving up in the end lol
I can totally relate with you
like seriously...…..
I already ordered your book!

Love braids! Im 56 years old with beautiful white hair. It’s halfway sown my back now so looking for great ways to wear it. Definitely going to use those 10 styles.
I will keep it and use it for school because it looks like you’re really good at hairstyles
I would love it.... but I'm sadly two years late.
Even tho imma say why I would love it.
I wear one basic braid every day, excluding buns for dance. I would love to change things up and surprise my peers at schools that I know other hairstyles than your basic braid.
Lol. Too late I guess.😁
Never late :)
I’m paralyzed so I would give it to my fiancé, so he has no excuse to just put my hair up in a ponytail LOL
how did u write this then?
@@siya8250 😂🙄u realize that she might not be paralyzed in her hands but maybe in her arms also u know that voice type is thing right lmfaooooo
Am I the only person who have so straight hair that everytime I just try to do some braids or whatever my hair just fall down 😂
Same in pakistan 2
Try using curlers in your hair before you braid. It's def time consuming but a lil curl will help hold it.
U. Are so lucky
I have frizzy curly hair so every time I try my braid my hair or anything else my frizz hides all the good assets of the style.
(Ps excuse my mistakes I'm sure someone will point out)
We’ve all been there. 😂
How am I just now discovering your Vlog?! I’m so in love with all of these styles! I work in an office and these are super cute and perfect for work! Can’t wait to rock one of these styles tomorrow! 😍
Fun and easy ways to learn hairstyles..😊👍
