If you have trouble finding goon tape, just buy hockey tape. It's basically the exact same thing. Except it's not as wide but is cheaper and it's always in stock. I play hockey so I just use that.
Nice basic tools! How does that tape do with heat? Will it leak glue? I’m going to wrap a handgard for HKMR 556a1. I have a oss can for it. It’s like the 556sd they had years back. I bought the rail, can goes over the barrel. It looks ok. It’s more of a collector piece. But I’m going to beat it up. It’s begging to get abused!

Goontape has popyester in it, which makes it GLOW under NightVision
Have you tested it? I'll test tonight and report back.
Update: Didn't really find it to reflect IR more than my Mayflower Chest Rig
A bit of a rattle can will fix any glowing problems with webbing and it's "glow" under IR light
