Only thing I would say is you should do something about your microphone cause we hear a lot of air puffs when you're talking, which hurts our ears! Either talk next to the microphone (not into it) or add foam around it / change microphone. Have a nice day!
Great video because it spells out all the buffs that I sometimes forget to use when gathering. I also didn't know about the new gathering gear. One little addition I wanted to add is that you can also just get random gear with gathering luck bonuses... so it's one thing to quickly check before salvaging gear. I got a 700 gs heavy chestpiece with max STR that I use as my main heavy chestpiece for all content, and it also has mining luck. Also - I found it very worthwhile to buy extra gearset loadouts for all 4 gathering professions, so I can swap to the appropriate set on the fly when I'm out in the open world... it might not fully optimize all of the luck with the foods and trophies etc, but it's still a lot more luck than nothing. I know it might not be something everyone can do, but IMO it's 20 dollars well spent. BTW when it comes to perks... I agree that efficiency is probably the best for mining, but the speed boost after gathering a node is a close second and possibly better than efficiency for some other gathering skills.
I’m sure you already know this, but I noticed you running the fire staff/great axe combo. You could definitely get the “Inferno” fire staff Artifact, which can scale with strength if it’s higher than intelligence!
Unfortunately something is wrong with this video it says "best routes for orichalcum" but there is no thing like that as also shown in this video people camp the nodes so at anytime you reach there you have to fight for nodes with at least 2-3 people who doing nothing else all day long... and thats also a fact for all other good orichalcum routes... very odd ... but hey the number of players are already reduced from nearly 58k to 33k last time i checked i guess it will now decrease by about 500-1k per week so in 4-6 weeks the worlds will be empty again because most people are not stupid and play a 3-5 hours update with an integrated farming/working simmulation

one time use so for a full set you need 5. i hope this helped

Would you recommend dropping the ores or sell them? As I'm sure storage space would not suffice for constant mining
if you need the gold keep it but if you are trying to get xp as fast as you can just drop it

Sadly the fire dots don’t scale off str. Better off going abyss and running the int build
