Could you film a day in the life with five in a row?
We are doing five in row for the first time this coming year and I’ll have a newborn, toddler, kinder, and a 2nd grader. I was looking at the book and was overwhelmed at trying to plan everything. Your video was super helpful and inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing!
I love videos like this. It's so helpful. I plan to use FIAR this coming school year for the first time, so having a little more of an idea on how to use it is great! Thanks!
Same here!!
OMG this is AMAZING!!!! Please do more of these unit preps!! This was so thorough and helpful!! So well thought out!!! Thank you!!!!❤️🏴❤️
💜 love the baby noise in background. Thanks for posting even with your life getting busy. You’re amazing.
I loved watching how you plan your FIAR units! We loved Duchess Bakes a Cake! It was our favorite from last year. Creating several units and swapping with a friend sounds like a great method! Hope you have a wonderful school year.
Definitely want more plan with me videos! And day in the life five in a row. Great ideas in this video!
Oh I love these videos! The planning sheets look so helpful.
I love this! Thank you so much for putting this video together!!
This is our first year doing FIAR, I’m doing Before FIAR with my 4 and 2 year old. This helps so much to see you plan it out, thank you for sharing!
This was great and so sweet for y’all to do for each other!
I love planning with me videos! This is great. I downloaded the five in a row mini unit using your code. I'm so excited to try five in a row! I haven't yet. Thank you! You are the one that introduced me to five in a row. 💓
Thanks so much for this. :) I'm starting BFIAR with my youngest next term and this was super helpful as a jumping-off point for me. Enjoy those newborn snuggles, there's nothing on earth like them! :)
Your kids will remember this forever! 🥰
Yes Please!! More planning videos. This was amazingly helpful
What a great idea, sharing the Oreo work with a friend. We love FIAR and this inspires me to prep some lessons ahead of time.
Been waiting for a video like this!! Yay!!! Thank you for making this!!🤍🤍🤍
love this video!!! Great ideas, looks like lots of fun. thanks for sharing!
I purchased volume 1 to use this coming school year and this was such a helpful video. Definitely makes it seem not as intimidating. Thank you for putting this together!
Your videos are always such an inspiration to me! I started using Fiar when you recommend it in a video a while back but I do love seeing the way you plan everything out and draw on outside resources and ideas. Thank you for sharing! 💕
This was excellent! So helpful! ❤️ Love plan with me videos!
We are starting FIAR for the first time this school year thanks to your videos!
I'm from Scotland! So cool to see you doing Scotland and the Highlands! 😁 Robert burns is a big thing here. We have national holiday in January celebrating him and kids in school here learn his poetry on that day. :)
I am using this as our core for first grade. Thank you for sharing this one! :)
Yay, thanks for doing this video! I am sure you didn't see it with all the comments, but I asked you to do this a few months back :) I have been sitting on Five in a Row for years... not sure why, since it is pretty simple. You made it even easier, just seeing what someone else does. Hopefully I can finally try a few this year. Thanks again!
I totally did not know this curriculum existed before this video! Now I am totally intrigued and want to use the Before Five in a Row for my three year old!
This video really caught my attention because I am planning on using FIAR for the first time this coming School year. I purchased an older edition of volume 1 just to give it a try. We love literature based learning in our house. I'm thinking I can combine my pre-K, kindergartener and second grader in volume one. My 5th grader will probably even want to listen to the books at least.
And yes, I love your plan with me videos. So helpful!
What a fun idea!
How fun and amazing
Wow, thanks for this! Really helps me to visualize how to use my FIAR program better. I just wish I could purchase these ready-made plans from you :) Looks very time consuming to me, and that’s only 5 weeks.
I'd love to see a DITL with how this goes and also including For Such A Time as This. I am looking at doing this with my Kinder
I love this video!! I'd love to see a video how your schedule looks with your other curriculums and Five in a Row.
Definitely! I’ll be sharing a scheduling video in July, but because that’s a few weeks out I’ll give a quick overview. We have our family subjects and Bible time right in the morning, then as my older two work on their independent work, I have an hour for five in a row and math/reading with my littles. Then they’re dismissed for the day and I work with my older two on anything they need my instruction on 😊
Thank you so much for sharing!!
I love this so much! Shortbread is a favorite and we have a book of sheet music by Robbie Burns we could use!
This great 👍 thanks
Does five in a row still have ornament and valentine exchange. It was so much fun to make ornaments based on the Five in a Row Books and then exchange with 10 other families.
This is very helpful. You've reignited my excitement to do BFIAR with my preschooler next year. Could you link the printable that you found to go with the cross-hatching?
This makes me want to try FIAR! Has anyone heard of someone doing something similar with the Peaceful Preschool curriculum? I'm attempting PP for the second time and as simple as it is I feel like I never get to all the things and never have everything I need on hand then lose momentum with it. I can never seem to remember to check a homeschool lesson plan when I'm making a grocery list 😅
Love your channel!! How do you do FIAR for multiple ages if they’re spread out? (11,8,5)
Ohhhh I totally want to try the Madeline one. It sounds so fun! How long is each unit?
Thank you SO much for the details and examples.
I am starting 5 in a row and feel pretty overwhelmed and then seeing your videos help me so much
May i ask Where did you find the map?
This video is very helpful. How do you make it all go together? I mean story of the world history and five in a row? Do you switch back and forth? I want to use five in a row, but I don't want to miss huge chunks of history and I want it all to flow together. Thank you! 😊
This is great!! We have Bfiar that I want to start soon. I have a three and five year old, what else would you suggest for each of them? I'm torn between preschool math at home, math with confidence and Singapore, all about reading and explode the code
How do you set up the documentaries that you have set up for your kids for these lessons?
Do you use one book a week? How do you fit it in with everything else us homeschool moms do? We love using literature for all things!! How do you incorporate it?
Does the map and disc come in the manual?
Good morning, Abby! I was just wondering if you add in a math curriculum or anything else or is it strictly FIAR?
Where do you get the books
Do you use a real map? With our book, it has sort of a storybook map
Hi Abby! Can I ask how the new manuals are different from the old ones? Are there more/different ideas?
Never mind found your video comparing them!!
Do you add in math for your younger kids with FIAR?
Did you ever do before 5 in a row?
