If you were recording when the spring shot off, you could just look and see what direction it went

so my MGB GT Died today, I think its the timing chain but I'm not sure. Drive as normal then a clang and rattle then it dies and now when I try to start it, it wants to turn over but its really quiet and muffled/gurgly sounding
