Thank you so much for this video. What I also found is that my flat plastic trim remover made a great tool for pushing the trigger back out. For folks for future reference, DO NOT press the trigger in when you yank the shifter knob up. The mechanism was designed to dock the trigger in place when you pull it out only for you to re-engage when you put the knob back on.
Unfortunately I do not. It actually is not too difficult. You'll want to use a interior tool (flat plastic or nylon) and just wedge it into the front and lift up. It pops right back on as well when you're done.

Thanks for the tip, do you have a video of how you removed it? I seen some videos using a heatgun to re-alight the center anchor?
