The anger of the mom is valid. Pat's dad stole her future. Imagine a girl with dreams than your supposed best friend steals it from you. In countries like Thailand families with low income would rather send the son to college instead of the daughter because girls get married and the sons look after the family. This was her chance. But she shouldn't force her son to hate Pat and compete against him. It backfired 😂 Also the beginning scene when Pran's go out the room and sees Pat's family. He instinctively wanted go back to Pat, where he felt safe. This episode is also a showcase of the great OhmNanon acting. The ending scenes still breaks my heart.
I won’t lie, I’m kinda mad that someone spoiled to wait for the mom’s reason - it was such a surprise at the time that it was more serious than we thought.
"Because you raised me this way, that's why I'm not like other kids." That line is so true. Most parents don't even fathom the damage they bring upon their children early on just by gossiping and slandering about gays for example. Many children know what is up with themselves while their parents still see them as their babies, who can't compute these trash talkings. But instead, their "baby" learns quickly, that they are talking bad about me, because I'm one of them and I won't ever be able to tell them that without being hated by them because of who I am.
Definitely! I also wondered if maybe he was feeling a little bit of second-hand guilt having just learned that the whole feud actually started with his dad, which ultimately resulted in his dad physically assaulting his boyfriend in public. Definitely feels the responsibility to be the strong one at the moment
that last scene still gets me. i cry every time. ohm and nanon are literally the top best actors from gmmtv. their range is ridiculous. because of that, plus the fact that this show has such a healthy relationship, is what make this series one of the absolute best from gmmtv. i would say that they still don't have one bl that tops this one.
Finally! After months (years?) of ignoring each other, Ohm and Nanon finally had a genuine interaction yesterday during their company's sports fest! ❤❤❤ I guess we will never know why their friendship brokeup, but I'm just happy they are ok to have this kind of interactions now. 🥰
I just watched multiple videos of them interracting. Even other actors and staffs reaction were cute seeing them. Im so happy they're in good terms now ❤😭
after this you must watch 1000 Stars because both this and Bad Buddy have special episodes that cross over so you need to have seen both to fully appreciate the genius
Pat's eyes at the beginning of the episode when he sees his dad warming up to Pran, vs his eyes when he learns the truth, so devastating. Great episode and great reaction. LOVE the staircase scene with Pat confessing his love, he finally go to do what he wanted to do in episode 7. Love all the InkPa stuff this episode. They were actually like the first big gl ship, and now there are a lot of gl shows. As people already said, the music club boys are from My School President, another great bl I hope you will react to, it's in my top 3 bls along with Bad Buddy and The Eclipse
The kids at the High School playing music singing Pran’s song is the cast of the MY SCHOOL PRESIDENT series. The series is heavily centered around music, high school, and love 😊
The whole scene on the rooftop always breaks my heart. The amount of weight they both held on to for so long and pat trying to stay strong for pran while pran finally lets out his feelings was so heartbreakingly beautiful :')
39:05 OMG, fun fact, those two actors (the one playing the guitar and the one by his side) got a series together called my school president !! 🤭🤭 (I will never get over them I'm so sorry 😭😭) ALSO great reaction fabiiii, we're so close to the end noooooo :(((((
39:07 ohkk here This is Lil Cameo or we can say debut of (My School President) cast before having their own series it's also BL and one of the best and famous series produse by GMMTV I'm hoping in future you should give chance to this series i bet you won't be disappoint ✨
Start by saying parents should never involve their children in their conflicts. Series did a good job of making everyone think that Pran's mom was the villain until the very end. But actually, it was Pat's dad who insisted that he compete and beat Pran at everything. The only thing we heard from Pran's mom was her telling him to stay away from him. I think Pat's' dad's reason was that he was afraid if Pat was friends with Pran; that Pran might know the reason for the conflict and tell Pat. He was covering his ass. And Pran's mom was afraid the same thing would happen to Pran if they were friends.
The scene beginning at 10:51 looks like cringe hazing - and it is, being similar to the hazing that seniors subject newcomers to, before they are admitted into the faculty. And this is appropriate here because Pat is being inducted into the faculty as an outsider too. But the scene is also a representation of a Thai engagement custom called the _khan maak_ in which the groom arrives at the bride's house and has to go through a series of challenges to prove himself worthy, including shouting out declarations of love, etc. So here Pat is claiming Pran as his betrothed by doing more or less the same. 💖The scene is also noteworthy because it is the first time that Pran, so reserved about their relationship before, is declaring it loudly and proudly in front of his metaphorical family (his faculty). And Pran is also doing a one-up on Pat in this scene - Pat confessed in Ep.7 that he just wanted to declare his love for Pran in front of everybody, and Pran's making Pat keep his word here. On a meta level, this scene is also a comment on marriage equality in Thailand (at the time of filming same-sex marriage was not yet legal in the country) because the _khan maak_ is also part of the overall wedding ceremony. And the scene that follows (showing Wai and Korn getting together as friends) is _also_ a visual pun on matrimony: Wai is dressed in flowy white, and he's holding that Thai crêpe like a bridal bouquet, while being escorted down the canteen aisle by Pran... This series has so many layers! 💖👍
Thank you so much for this breakdown! These things can go right over your head if you don’t know the background or at least if not familiar with the culture. ❤️
It's been so long since this episode came out, and I've watched it more times than I could count, but I will never EVER get over the fact that Pran got physically assaulted by two (TWO) people in the span of what was probably like 20 minutes, one of which was HIS OWN MOTHER. Insane. Poor, poor Pran. No one should ever have anything like that happen to them.
I think about the whole circumstances, why Pran Mom hate Pat Dad so much Imagine in the 90, in Asian country, is rare a women can get higher education, especially university, it commen now... But back that, it's must be such a big deal to lost scholarship
Fun fact! I know people have already told you that the actors who play Ink and Pa have a show together called 23.5, but it was recently announced that they will have two more shows together in the next year/year and a half. One of them being "Girl Rules" which looks like it will be the Sapphic version of "Only Friends" which was a show about a very messy gay friend group. As for my thoughts on the episode: I was so excited and also so sad when this episode aired. Excited because Ink and Pa got together, which was the first time (that I can remember) since 2016 when Sotus aired, that a BL had a cannon lesbian side character. But also very sad for Pran and Pat, and Pran's mom. I know how hard it can be for women to get educations even now and in the last 30yrs. My sister is able to go to collage because of scholarships, and my mother made it clear to my father when they got married that she wanted to go back to college to get her masters degree, but instead she had to cater to my father, his whims and career goals because he was the "man" and "provider", and raise me and my siblings. Now over 25yrs later she finally started her masters this year.
Thanks so much for sharing this! Girl Rules sounds interesting! And I totally get your mixed feelings about the episode. Ink and Pa’s relationship was such a cute moment, but everything with Pran, Pat, and his mum was so heartbreaking. Your story about your mum is so inspiring-it’s amazing that she’s finally going after her master’s after all this time. Thank you for opening up about that!
Pran’s mom doesn’t have a valid reason to dislike Pat, but I find the hatred towards Pat’s dad much more understandable than if it were just an ex thing. I couldn’t forgive him either. Imagine a friend lying to a teacher to steal your scholarship, preventing you from attending uni and altering your entire future. Damn, I’m still flabbergasted to this day 😂 I would wish my son all the happiness with his boyfriend but I would NOT be ok with meeting and being friends with his father-in-law
Remember not to take "sister", "bro", Brother", "uncle", "grandma" etc. in english translations of East Asian languages as meaning actual family or someone seeing someone as family. Remember in Semantic Error how meaningful and big it was and how it showed Jae Young that they were close and he was really happy and got all soft when Sang U finally called him "hyung"? Hyung can be and often are translated to older brother or bro sometimes or brother because it's how in Korea a younger man addresses an older man he is close to. But though it also can be used between actual siblings it's most time you hear it not but between friends where one is older and in other relationships too like a younger bf would call his older bf hyung. It's called honorifics but also how you address younger people for example in Korea with dongsaeng and in Thailand nong can be translated to younger sibling because they're not gendered but you often see it translated to younger brother or sister or just brother or sister or something similar but it's a way to address someone younger, also someone you are in a relationship with, siblings too but just someone in general that is younger. This got very long but hope you get what I'm trying to explain. Basically do not take these translations as how you use them in English. In East Asian countries, culture where there are age hierarchy and use of honorifics you often do not just use names but titles etc. And pretty often things that aren't gendered in East Asian languages get's gendered when translated, like faen in Thai is not gendered and used both for bf and gf or lover but in Eng subs it usually says either bf or gf. And just in general often gender specific pronouns aren't used, not part of the languages in big parts. So sometimes you see someone talking and in the subs it may say "he/him" and "bf" etc but the other person still assumes they are talking about a woman/gf then it's because in the original language no gender is used. But in English there is no equivalent way to say it so it gets translated gender specific. When Pat was asing Pran to call him "big brother" he said Phi in Thai (So like Phi Pat/P'Pat) which is used for both older men and women and could be translated to older sibling or as in this older brother but it's not just siblings you say it to close older schoolmates, friends and partners so gf and bf too. So it's not as weird and incestious sounding in Thai when he says it even though he is kidding around about them being siblings. By the way Pa calls him Hia which is older brother also not just for siblings but gendered for older males and it's used when there are Chinese descent. So a younger gf/bf could call him that too. But in Thai Phi is mostly what you hear. Also "I like it" and "I like you" are said without being specific it's basically like you just say "I like" so in many dramas you see people confess but the other one not being sure if they talk about them or the food or the sunset etc. It's in dramas from Japan, Korea and Thailand pretty often. You saw it in Love in the big City when tattoo guy confessed before the first kiss with Young. Young thought he meant the food but he meant him or the universe that was him. And I like is a confession as having feelings/being in love with someone not just like in English "I like you".
Wow, there are so many nuances and intricate details that convey meaning in a language - especially when the culture, like that of East Asia, is so different. Translations can communicate the general idea, but they often struggle to preserve the original essence. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain it all! ❤️🫰🏽
as much as i remember this episode as one of best thorughout the whole series, i gotta say i love how genuine your reactions are... kinda reminds me of how i reacted the first time watching it. this whole series is packed with a lot of emotion mixed with fun and romances, but yeah the whole plot of this ordeal is the on-going chain reaction where parents keep on leaving scars the to their children, and the generational trauma projected into the next generation, and it goes on while the only thing that could break that chain is love between pat and pran, and that for me is just so amazing to learn from
The ending gets me every time. Pat is trying so hard to be strong for Pran, but can't help and shed tears anyway. (Filmed on the same rooftop and day than the legendary scene in Ep5, past 4am at night due to rain delays, it must've been real tough work for the actors. Plus, it was the last day of filming too, so imagine the emotions as the project came to an end.)
I suggest for you to watch InkPa's Zero Photography special episodes if you want to know more about them :")) and you can try 23.5 their first main lead series , next year they also have 2 series to come ^^ im happy you are enjoying Ink and Pa's story
Oh, really ? 😳 I think this recommendation is quite unique ! No one has ever recommended such a series ! It's the first time ... How amazing it is !! 🤣🤣🤣
This ep was a rollercoaster of emotions 🤧 Pat's dad really did wrong to Pran's mother. If i was her, i would super angry as well 🫤 One thing that i didn't liked in this show... Ill tell you in finale ep. I don't want to give any spoilers. Inkpa red room scene is one of my fav. I get emotional everytime i see that scene. During that whole parents children scene... I was literally shaking in fear lol. Anyway, those boys are brave to confront their parents 🙌 Also, those kids who are singing playing guitar, PP saw in their old school... They are in another series my school president. The one playing the guitar is one of male lead in that drama. Both are good singers. I love that series so much 😁 Can't wait for you to start last twilight and my school president too 🫣
@Ace_lonelysoul episode 10 aired in January '22. My School President was announced by GMMTV in November '21. Gemini and Fourth were new recruits to the vast GMMTV stable about to headline their first series and to do so as leads. That scene was unnecessary for Bad Buddy. Had "tight editing" been the goal, action would have skipped directly to the older teacher who possessed the important details. Instead, we got these fluffy caemo appearances. These guest spots read very much like the scene was written in as a sneaky cross-promotion. Call it a sly bit of in-house "product placement" to put the new "featured ship" in front of fans as a kind of introduction. Pran even references "music club," as another nod toward the upcoming series. (Was the third actor in that scene one of the side characters in MSP?) Anyway, the padded scene did not hurt Bad Buddy and definitely increased the profile of both MSP and its newbie actors. Win win. Although this link is (maybe?) more coincidental, MSP eventually occupied the same space on the broadcast schedule as BB. Not just the Friday night time slot that so many BL series rotated through either. Like Bad Buddy, MSP started in Fall (roughly a year after being announced) and crossed into the new year before finishing. That particular window seems part of GMMTV's regular cycle. In '20 Tonhon Chonlatee had this slot; in '21 BB; in '22 MSP; in '23, Last Twilight; in '24, Thame Po, albeit that one's December launch will carry it deeper into the new year than its predecessors. I feel as if the company regards the year's last Friday series as a prestige assignment for the acting ships it most wished to promote, reserving it for series it prognosticates will do well. It miscalculated with Tonhon Chonlatee, but the more recent four all count as huge successes for gmmtv (critically and commercially).
"I have night's cloak to hide me from their sight; And but thou love me, let them find me here. My life were better ended by their hate, than death prorogued, wanting of thy love." Moment
I'm surprised there aren't more comments recommending 'I told sunset about you'. Although I think it would have to be patreon exclusive 😅 it's still such a great watch. Great video as always !!
So many things are going on while he is reacting to Bad buddy.....like Ohm Nannon were competing in Starlympics❤️❤️Had a football match yesterday....All the memories just flashed in front of my eyes🥰🥰🥰🥰 My insta twitter is going crazy....It's full of Ohm Nannon 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm enjoying your reactions to the BL series. I think we all cried for Pran and Pat in this episode. I remember being shocked by the revelation of the true reason for the hate between their parents. May I make some suggestions for other good GMMTV series for you to watch? 1. Not Me 2. 1000 Stars 3. Moonlight Chicken 4. Last Twilight
Unexpected thing about Fabi I learned in the Live: Fabi and I have something in common I wouldn't have guessed. Albeit, that commonality isn't actually about us. Mabuhay!
Bad Buddy has one of the most unusual story structures of any BL series. Its final quartet of episodes subvert all expectations and operate by their own rules. Episode 10, for example, is the de facto finale. Ep 9 delivers the Penultimate Curse two episodes ahead of the actual penultimate. And e 11 and e 12 do their own unprecedented thing. Rather than work against the series, upending the narrative structure disrupted fans' ability guess the ending and enhanced the sense that Bad Buddy differed from the usual BL. Let us begin with this episode. Ep 10 resolves most nearly every ongoing subplot, storyline and character arc: PatPran fully reveal their relationship to their parents; the rift between faculties is dissolved by the grand confession on the grand staircase; Wai and Korn make a truce for the sake of their friends; Pa learns the identity of her peer advisor; Ink and Pa get together; the recurring employee Chai finally gets his moment; and, most significantly, the source of the parents' rift is discovered. Most series would tie up that many loose ends in the finale, but Bad Buddy still had two episodes left. Nevertheless, ep 10 operates as a de facto finale for all characters beside Pat and Pran themselves. For the leads, the ending of ep 10 launches them into a final story arc, resolved in the actual penultimate and finale. For the others, Ep 12 is mere epilog. But wait! Doesn't the GMMTV formula require a Penultimate Curse episode? If 10 resolves the action, how can 11 deliver a curse? Fans refer to 11 as "the honeymoon episode." That's not very Curse-like. Indeed, if 10 is really the de facto finale, concluding the main story and all the sub-plots, as I argue, then doesn't that make 9 the de facto penultimate? And wpuld we not, therefore, expect it to behave like a Penultimate Curse episode? These are good questions, folks. What are the qualities that define a Penultimate Curse episode? Some kind of Calamaitous Obstacle will crash into Our Heroes. This event usually comes out of nowhere (no foreshadowing from earlier episodes) via the agency of an "extra" character who has either only recently appeared or appears only for this episode. The Calamitous Obstacle creates intense drama for the characters, and the series may want viewers to believe the main couple's future happiness is imperiled. So, if those elements comprise the familiar Penultimate Curse, does episode 9 fit the bill? That episode gives us a brand new character ✅ (Handsome Rugby Guy) , who causes trouble that disrupts ✅ (picking fights) with very high stakes ✅ (that's the gun), and a Calamitous Obstacle develops that imperils Our Heroes' future ✅ (Pat gets shot). For me, yep, that's your patented gmmtv Penultimate Curse: unnecessary drama with abnormally high stakes. It just arrived earlier than expected when no one was looking for it. Essentially, Ep 11 and Ep 12 stand apart from the first 10. They combine to tell just one story: how Pat and Pran reconcile their love for each other against their parents' feud. I see this as a new arc for them, different from the "secret relationship" arc that powers eps 7-10 because at this point they have decided to choose commitment to the other over and above all other considerations. In a way, that break marks a transition from sons mindful of filial obligation to adults who stake a claim for independence. Independence? Ep 11 has the duo literally on their own, away from everyone else. They are struggling with redefining the terms of parent-child versus parent-adult child obligations, and Junior's arc with his mother in e 11 helps clarify things. As for ep 12, the side characters return, but the time jump disconnects that episode's events from what came before. Pat no longer lives at home, and Pran resides in Singapore. Independence, realized!
this is the kind of otherworldly magic that happens when women are writing women. they get to actually be fully human with other concerns and other things to do and grudges to hold so entirely unrelated to sex and romance. ✨ and also, sometimes boys and girls can just be friends 🤷♀
At that time (when their parents were still studying) Thailand was facing a severe financial crisis. which made it even harder for anyone to make money. so the scholarship stolen was an even bigger issue.
53:00 As Ink and Pa mutually confess in a dark room. I mean, in the darkroom. It isn't unusual in gmmtv series for side characters to pair up in the later episodes. Often, these relationships feel sudden and abrupt because the side characters may not have interacted much. Or ever expressed any romantic longings at all. One day, they just turn gay...Poof! [Poof-ter?] Fans, while delighted, often wonder, "where did _that_ come from." As if the writers retconned the attraction between side characters at the last minute. (Often, people will joke, "its a BL. By the end, everyone is gay!" Incidentally, this well-established tendency is why so many of us watching in the moment speculated between episodes an inevitable Korn-Wai pairing. Their feuding totally fit the established gmmtv M.O. for an incipient side couple.) Unlike those "gotcha" side couples, the confession scene here pays off a slow-burn build up. In hindsight (watch ep 4 again) it is clear from the first InkPa encounter that this side couple was a purposeful slow burn. Or at least, the hints are there. In the darkroom, Ink admits her crush goes back to high school. In that first meeting, Pa is appropriately oblivious but Milk (playing Ink) seems aware of the future storyline, for her portrayal of Ink includes some lingering glances. Seven episodes later and the writer fires the Chekohov's gun shown to the audience earlier and teased repeatedly. They are a couple! Poof!
Hello... I really like the scene between Pran and his mother... It's a very difficult scene but so well acted... Nanon is very good ! In fact, Pran is mistaken about his mother's reasons and finally speaks harshly to her during this argument. That's why he's going to blame himself and he's a character who thinks a lot... Just like his mother who immediately regrets the slap she gives him. For Pat, it's different, he is very angry with his father, everything falls apart... Leaving with Pran, getting away from this harmful environment is the only solution to save their relationship... Pat and Pran brothers ? In the end, it was a thought that crossed their minds... 🤣 We can think this is the culmination of the drama and therefore the end of the story... Two episodes will, however, constitute an epilogue... The way Pat and Pran are going to engage a resilience of this problem ... Is there a possible way out ? Personally, I loved these two ending episodes... Not everyone necessarily liked it, but I always thought it was so obvious...
deberías ver 1000 stars cuando termines esta, hay un especial en our skyy 2 en el que juntan ambos mundos.. es lo último que tuvimos de estas excelentes series :cc
This one is a shorter comment ( I did split it up a lot though so it does look just as long as the other comment 😂) I wanna say that the scene between Pran and his mum really shows how dedicated to the role of Pran Nanon is Seriously taking a real slap is difficult for most actors ( usually slaps are done using camera angle trickery and sound effects) but fair play to Nanon he said he wanted the reaction from both Pran and his mum to look as realistic as possible so allowed the actress who played his mum to slap him for real One thing I would've changed about how the scene played out is I wish it was given a little longer than about 3 minutes because this is literally the big secret reveal and I don't think Pran was able to say everything he needed to say What I find funny is that although Pat's dad is the beginning problem Prans mum comes out looking like the villain ( and rightly so because she is) Pat's dad is a liar and a thief ( which is still a bad thing I'm not denying that) But Prans mum is an actual child abuser ( and hopefully people will agree that's worse) He stole the scholarship... When they were younger ... something he can't undo and even if he attempts an apology she would still have a grudge They then grew older and lived next door to eachother for at least 19 to 20 years They then became parents and whilst I'm not team Pat's dad I do think that when you become a parent/guardian your main priority should be the person you are looking after Pat grew up fine and strong minded Pran however didn't We literally see and hear Pran call his mum out on her emotionally manipulating Pran from a young age ( telling him that Pat and pa are bad and not to be friends with them without ever giving Pran a good excuse) She emotionally manipulated Pran and when he called her out on it and said nothing but the truth she physically hit him NOT EXACTLY MOTHER OF THE YEAR Her life didn't turn out the way she wanted but she doesn't even appear to be grateful for the things she does have Even simple things that some people would kill or die for such as 1) the house she lives in looks big (considering only 3 people live in it) and the furniture and room decor looks like it would cost a lot 2) her husband has a business that I'm assuming she also helps with ( unless she has a job of her own) by the way a business that is still open during COVID (I think we do see people in the background wearing masks sometimes) which is incredible that this series was able to be made during a global pandemic 3) a car to get around in ( sure it's not an Audi R8 but it's a functional working car) 4) a patient and loyal partner for a husband ( and let's face it she acts like she's all high and mighty like she thinks she's better than other people) that must be unbearable and exhausting 5) and most importantly she has a beautiful gorgeous healthy baby boy who is now a beautiful gorgeous healthy grown man who can make his own decisions and choices And like it or not she is the reason he has run off
I agree with a lot of what you say... Pran's mother is manipulative. And Pran shows her that he is so aware of it... This scene is beautifully played by Nanon... It's true.. On the other hand, his mother may have been very hurt by the betrayal of Pat's father... It doesn't matter if she has a job, a nice house... This doesn't necessarily condition happiness. In a way, she "mistreated" Pran, but she immediately regrets having slapped him. I don't excuse her but she is very attached to her son and vice versa... Like Pat considered his father as a reference. This attachment between Pran and his mother is not to be minimized since it is important in the rest of this story...
Hi i am quite a new sub. Just wanna say the gl couple has a series called 23.5 and you were on point abt the school meeting an old teacher. Kinda shocked abt that. Also great reaction. The next episodes get real interesting. Looking forward to your reaction for them. Also some recommendations My school president the two kids from the band group when pat and pran went back are the main leads i this series and directed by the guy with which pran worked the the play who caught pran and pat messing around with the instrument that pat is supposed to play. Also you can watch moonlight chicken, last twilight, only friends, not me,vice versa, only boo, sotus, high school frenemy, thamepo, f4thailand, never let me go, boss and a babe, perfect 10 liners, we are, peaceful property on sale and lastly enigma. Quite a bit of recommendations i know but guarantee you most of them are awesome some are a bit not great but actors are great plot isn't that is why yyou can watch them and the recommendations are a mix of gl's and bl's and straight series.
The girls have a series to, but is another history, is not related with this. You can see Last Twilight is really good and A Tale Of A Thousand Stars plus that when you finish you need to watch the Our Skyy 2 Special Episode were is a cross over of Bad buddy and A Tale of a tThousand Stars
Ohm and Nanon are so good and really have great chemistry. Too bad them having another show together is pretty slim. You can react next to their Our Skyy 2 episodes as Pat and Pran gain with a cross over with another series. Hope you can react next to The On1y One and Gaya sa Pelikula (this one is quite old but for me is still one of the best I’ve seen)
1:10:03 I SHOULD HAVE WATCHED THIS AT NIGHT, WATCHING IT IN THE MORNING CAN CAUSE YOU TO NOT BE IN THE MOOD TO DO ACTIVITIES BECAUSE THE SADNESS LASTS SO LONG😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
The anger of the mom is valid. It backfired 😂
Also the beginning scene when Pran's go out the room and sees Pat's family. He instinctively wanted go back to Pat, where he felt safe.
This episode is also a showcase of the great OhmNanon acting.
The ending scenes still breaks my heart.
Yeah, I agree! Mum’s reason was completely valid 😭 I actually feel bad for her.
And yeah, that was hilarious Pran trying to go back in 😂😂😂
@FabiReacts Everbody hated the mum until this moment. Pat's dad is the greatest villan in this story beside Wai.
I forgot.. was he even sorry for what he did?? @@ladymay30
39:08 He is the protagonist in My school president, the other also appears in the series. I also recommend this series, it is one of my favorites. ❤❤❤
I won’t lie, I’m kinda mad that someone spoiled to wait for the mom’s reason - it was such a surprise at the time that it was more serious than we thought.
🥲 yeah, these things are bound to happen
OhmNanon's acting prowess still gets me. I'll never get tired watching RVs to relieve my Bad Buddy memories....
"Because you raised me this way, that's why I'm not like other kids."
That line is so true.
The way I relate to this line as well, it’s actually painful 😭
I felt that line...Nanon's acting made it so real and devastating.😢
i love how pat did not cry as much as pran did when they were in the rooftop, its like he's acting strong for the both of them
Definitely! I also wondered if maybe he was feeling a little bit of second-hand guilt having just learned that the whole feud actually started with his dad, which ultimately resulted in his dad physically assaulting his boyfriend in public. Definitely feels the responsibility to be the strong one at the moment
“Not me” as your next bl bro you won’t regret it !👍
Yeaa ,Im support this ..
" not me" p'offgun .. anothers the best bl series .. 🫡
i agree!! the best ever
that last scene still gets me. i cry every time. ohm and nanon are literally the top best actors from gmmtv. their range is ridiculous. because of that, plus the fact that this show has such a healthy relationship, is what make this series one of the absolute best from gmmtv. i would say that they still don't have one bl that tops this one.
Im so happy they're in good terms now ❤😭
after this you must watch 1000 Stars because both this and Bad Buddy have special episodes that cross over so you need to have seen both to fully appreciate the genius
justo estaba por comentar esto!!
Facts
You have to watch 23.5!! It’s the show from the two actors of ink and pa! It’s so so cute and a nice story of them teo
And ofc last twilight
Remember when in ep 9 Pat ask Parn to declare his love for him, infront of the whole class...
14:20 Parn get his revenge 😂😂😂
😂😂
Pat's eyes at the beginning of the episode when he sees his dad warming up to Pran, vs his eyes when he learns the truth, so devastating. Great episode and great reaction. LOVE the staircase scene with Pat confessing his love, he finally go to do what he wanted to do in episode 7. Love all the InkPa stuff this episode. They were actually like the first big gl ship, and now there are a lot of gl shows. As people already said, the music club boys are from My School President, another great bl I hope you will react to, it's in my top 3 bls along with Bad Buddy and The Eclipse
Staircase scene is definitely one of my favourite moments of Bad Buddy 🤩
The kids at the High School playing music singing Pran’s song is the cast of the MY SCHOOL PRESIDENT series. The series is heavily centered around music, high school, and love 😊
Let's vote for the next episode 🗳️😅
Me .. next episode 🥰
The whole scene on the rooftop always breaks my heart. The amount of weight they both held on to for so long and pat trying to stay strong for pran while pran finally lets out his feelings was so heartbreakingly beautiful :')
😭💔
39:05 OMG, fun fact, those two actors (the one playing the guitar and the one by his side) got a series together called my school president !! 🤭🤭 (I will never get over them I'm so sorry 😭😭) ALSO great reaction fabiiii, we're so close to the end noooooo :(((((
😭 I knowww I’m about to finish it. Great way to end 2024!
Noooo my daily late night vids are over 😔😔 Advance merry christmas and happy new year by the way!!! Hope 2025 will be good for u 💗💗
@@tuulover thank you! Merry christmas and happy new year to you too! 🎄 Hopefully you'll like the next series!

39:07 ohkk here This is Lil Cameo or we can say debut of (My School President) cast before having their own series it's also BL and one of the best and famous series produse by GMMTV I'm hoping in future you should give chance to this series i bet you won't be disappoint ✨
In just a few short years, little Gemini and Fourth have grown more famous than everyone else on the show
@@glynnec2008 FR they are extremely talented baby's looking forward for their new project "Ticket To Heaven" ✨
9:33 Fabi is relieved at how calm Pat's dad is.
Me? Chowing down my Ben & Jerry's. Thinking... It's just the cold open. Give it time.
😂😂😂
Start by saying parents should never involve their children in their conflicts. Series did a good job of making everyone think that Pran's mom was the villain until the very end. But actually, it was Pat's dad who insisted that he compete and beat Pran at everything. The only thing we heard from Pran's mom was her telling him to stay away from him. I think Pat's' dad's reason was that he was afraid if Pat was friends with Pran; that Pran might know the reason for the conflict and tell Pat. He was covering his ass. And Pran's mom was afraid the same thing would happen to Pran if they were friends.
Nanon is a method actor. He was so into this scene, that it took him quite a while after the scene ended to compose himself.
😭😭
I think about the whole circumstances, why Pran Mom hate Pat Dad so much
Imagine in the 90, in Asian country, is rare a women can get higher education, especially university, it commen now...
But back that, it's must be such a big deal to lost scholarship
That’s a great point! Pat’s dad was the true villain…
Even though she came accross as an antagonist, Prans mom's performance was amazing in this episode.
I love rewatching this series with you!! can't wait for the next cap :')
❤️🫶🏽
Watching yhis after they started interacting again feels different ❤
Damn, I’m still flabbergasted to this day 😂
I would wish my son all the happiness with his boyfriend but I would NOT be ok with meeting and being friends with his father-in-law
Yeah, I completely agree with you 😂
Remember not to take "sister", "bro", Brother", "uncle", "grandma" etc. in english translations of East Asian languages as meaning actual family or someone seeing someone as family.
as much as i remember this episode as one of best thorughout the whole series, i gotta say i love how genuine your reactions are... kinda reminds me of how i reacted the first time watching it. this whole series is packed with a lot of emotion mixed with fun and romances, but yeah the whole plot of this ordeal is the on-going chain reaction where parents keep on leaving scars the to their children, and the generational trauma projected into the next generation, and it goes on while the only thing that could break that chain is love between pat and pran, and that for me is just so amazing to learn from
❤️
I have watched this series many times and yet today I cried with you again
😭😭😭
The ending gets me every time. Pat is trying so hard to be strong for Pran, but can't help and shed tears anyway.
(Filmed on the same rooftop and day than the legendary scene in Ep5, past 4am at night due to rain delays, it must've been real tough work for the actors. Plus, it was the last day of filming too, so imagine the emotions as the project came to an end.)
That rooftop holds so many memories 😭
I just completed my thame po reaction. Now bad buddy is here 🙈 so lucky day 😆
🍀🫰🏽
I suggest for you to watch InkPa's Zero Photography special episodes if you want to know more about them :")) and you can try 23.5 their first main lead series , next year they also have 2 series to come ^^ im happy you are enjoying Ink and Pa's story
GMMTV StarOlympics 2024 have healed Ronans and OhmNanon ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚
When you finish this series, you can start this series called "Last Twilight" ❤😅
This one is also very good 🥰
Oh, really ? 😳
I think this recommendation is quite unique ! No one has ever recommended such a series ! It's the first time ...
How amazing it is !! 🤣🤣🤣
@@gilless.5904 🤣🤣🤣
Last Twilight is probably my #1 (Bad Buddy held that spot for quite a while). ❤
A Tale Of A Thousand Stars is a better series plus then he can watch the Our Skyy 2 Special Episode
Anyway, those boys are brave to confront their parents 🙌
Also, those kids who are singing playing guitar, PP saw in their old school... They are in another series my school president. The one playing the guitar is one of male lead in that drama. Both are good singers. I love that series so much 😁
Can't wait for you to start last twilight and my school president too 🫣
@Ace_lonelysoul episode 10 aired in January '22.
Your reactions are literally the cutest!!! ❤
I love your smile 🥰

I'm surprised there aren't more comments recommending 'I told sunset about you'. Although I think it would have to be patreon exclusive 😅 it's still such a great watch. Great video as always !!

I'm enjoying your reactions to the BL series. I think we all cried for Pran and Pat in this episode. I remember being shocked by the revelation of the true reason for the hate between their parents.

Unexpected thing about Fabi I learned in the Live:
Fabi and I have something in common I wouldn't have guessed. Albeit, that commonality isn't actually about us. Mabuhay!
Thanks for joining! And no way?! I suspected something but that’s great! Mabuhay indeed!
and also, sometimes boys and girls can just be friends 🤷♀
At that time (when their parents were still studying) Thailand was facing a severe financial crisis. which made it even harder for anyone to make money. so the scholarship stolen was an even bigger issue.
Oh, this makes it even worse! 😭
This is great end to my friday night!!!😀😀
❤️
The tears appeared for me to. The ending was too sad 😢 I need to watch something happy to get over this now.
🥺🥺🥺
WAIT A MINUTE, I WILL TAKE MY BREAKFAST TO WATCH THIS REACTION😭😭😭😭💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻

Poof!
I didn’t know this was a thing! I’ll pay more attention in other GMMTV shows for side couples 😂
We can think this is the culmination of the drama and therefore the end of the story...
Two episodes will, however, constitute an epilogue...
The way Pat and Pran are going to engage a resilience of this problem ... Is there a possible way out ?
Personally, I loved these two ending episodes... Not everyone necessarily liked it, but I always thought it was so obvious...
omgg justo estaba pensando en que ya quería que subas video viendo bad buddy
Buen provecho! 😋
1:02:37 I ALWAYS CRY AT THIS SCENE NO MATTER HOW MUCH I WATCH THIS SERIES 😭😭😭😭

😭😭😭
we got an OhmNanon interaction today after like more than a year and you posted so overall it's a great day for annoying people (me)
A definite must watch is 2gether the series ❤️🤗
I cried so so much with that ending 😭😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭
This one is a shorter comment ( I did split it up a lot though so it does look just as long as the other comment 😂)
I wanna say that the scene between Pran and his mum really shows how dedicated to the role of Pran Nanon is
Seriously taking a real slap is difficult for most actors ( usually slaps are done using camera angle trickery and sound effects) but fair play to Nanon he said he wanted the reaction from both Pran and his mum to look as realistic as possible so allowed the actress who played his mum to slap him for real
One thing I would've changed about how the scene played out is I wish it was given a little longer than about 3 minutes because this is literally the big secret reveal and I don't think Pran was able to say everything he needed to say
What I find funny is that although Pat's dad is the beginning problem
Prans mum comes out looking like the villain ( and rightly so because she is)
Pat's dad is a liar and a thief ( which is still a bad thing I'm not denying that)
But Prans mum is an actual child abuser ( and hopefully people will agree that's worse)
He stole the scholarship... When they were younger ... something he can't undo and even if he attempts an apology she would still have a grudge
They then grew older and lived next door to eachother for at least 19 to 20 years
They then became parents and whilst I'm not team Pat's dad I do think that when you become a parent/guardian your main priority should be the person you are looking after
Pat grew up fine and strong minded Pran however didn't
We literally see and hear Pran call his mum out on her emotionally manipulating Pran from a young age ( telling him that Pat and pa are bad and not to be friends with them without ever giving Pran a good excuse)
She emotionally manipulated Pran and when he called her out on it and said nothing but the truth she physically hit him
NOT EXACTLY MOTHER OF THE YEAR
Her life didn't turn out the way she wanted but she doesn't even appear to be grateful for the things she does have
Even simple things that some people would kill or die for
such as
1) the house she lives in looks big (considering only 3 people live in it) and the furniture and room decor looks like it would cost a lot
2) her husband has a business that I'm assuming she also helps with ( unless she has a job of her own)
by the way a business that is still open during COVID (I think we do see people in the background wearing masks sometimes) which is incredible that this series was able to be made during a global pandemic
3) a car to get around in ( sure it's not an Audi R8 but it's a functional working car)
4) a patient and loyal partner for a husband ( and let's face it she acts like she's all high and mighty like she thinks she's better than other people) that must be unbearable and exhausting
5) and most importantly she has a beautiful gorgeous healthy baby boy who is now a beautiful gorgeous healthy grown man who can make his own decisions and choices
And like it or not she is the reason he has run off
I agree with a lot of what you say...
This attachment between Pran and his mother is not to be minimized since it is important in the rest of this story...
watching this after the little patpran coded ohmnanon interraction we got at starlympics today...god i miss patpran so much :((((
Hi i am quite a new sub. Just wanna say the gl couple has a series called 23.5 and you were on point abt the school meeting an old teacher. Kinda shocked abt that. Also great reaction. The next episodes get real interesting. Looking forward to your reaction for them.
Also some recommendations
My school president the two kids from the band group when pat and pran went back are the main leads i this series and directed by the guy with which pran worked the the play who caught pran and pat messing around with the instrument that pat is supposed to play.
15:28 as a result of this scene, I learned the Thai word _khanom_ because I wanted one of those things Wai is eating.
😂😂 now I learnt one too!
The girls have a series to, but is another history, is not related with this. You can see Last Twilight is really good and A Tale Of A Thousand Stars plus that when you finish you need to watch the Our Skyy 2 Special Episode were is a cross over of Bad buddy and A Tale of a tThousand Stars
amo tus reacciones😭 puedes darle una oportunidad a Last Twilight o Not Me
Ohm and Nanon are so good and really have great chemistry.
So, the first thing you say to your son is : why was he here?; not how are you or are you okay? Shows Pat's dad's priorities.
love your reaction....next reaction on we are the series it's a great series... I'm sure you'll love it
Now I have a reason to take a break from studying 🎉😂❤
Break’s over! 😂🫰🏽
I can't attend your live stream because I had work to do🥹🥹 I'm little sad but thank you for the reaction 💙
