My house is 20 years old and these pile has got so dirty and don't how to clean it. I can't find the same size to replace all any suggestion would be appreciated.
I know your post is really old and the company I liked above is actually out of the size I need. I wonder why 3/16th's wide is so difficult to find. Is that what size you needed? What did you end up doing about your storm windows?
That technique works but is painfully slow. All you need is a 4" putty knife, a pair of pliers and side cutters. Using the pliers, grab the pile near an edge and pull up. Once it is out of the track, pull it at the end with the pliers. It will zip right out. New one install by inserting one edge and push the other in using the putty knife. work along the length like that. Cut to size when you approach the end and snap the last bit in.
