    been using the Eheim for years. have one for each of the 3 tanks. Try a piece of tape to make the opening more of a square than a rectangle. I find a more consistent dose. Love the videos.

      Only in the sense that they dictate the same way/same pace. There's clearly a script/style. But their voices are all distinct. Lol. I have 0 issue telling them apart and I don't watch the videos I just listen with my headphones in while working.

    Great video RT. i love my feeder but the summer months do increase the humidity and condensation on the feeder. Can you do a video on fans and venting options since it's like a million degrees here in NY.. lol

    As usual great clip guys :P
    I'm close to upgrading to a 224gl from my 93gl cube,
    I noticed that you never did a tutorial on how to transfer tanks the right way.
    The net doesn't offer much info on it either, Be real cool to see it done the BRS way.
    thanks.

    Could you post a video talking about what the best amount of fish and inverts are for different sizes of tanks? I think a lot of new reefers would like this. Thanks in advance👌🏻👌🏻

    quick question... is there a feeder that would work with a tank having a glasstop canopy? I have a rimless tank that has the canopy and only has a diagonal cutout at the front corner of the canopy so that it can be removed off the tank. Was hoping to find something that would spill into that corner.

    I love you guys. Great info and awesome channel that adds tons of value and convience to this hobby. My only request is that you guys please add some downward tonation to your vocabulary. Everything you say sounds like a question!!

      Sorry, I hope that doesn't sound like personal cheap shot, love you guys. Great channel and fantastic info! A little downward inflection really adds a ton of punch to the delivery from the communication aspect. You guys KNOW what you're talking about! It just doesn't SOUND like it sometimes.

    I never feed my fish with one type of food. One day it's frozen, the next it's pellets, the next it's a combo of both followed by mixing frozen with reef chilli and so forth. I'll worry about vacation when I get there.

      +Narae Kim what steps did you take to do your blackout? Specifically how long did you do it, and what you used to cover the tank.

    How do you feed if you have a lid? Serious question

    • @BRStv
      @BRStv  4 роки тому

      Most foods will fall right through screen top lids, but if you have a glass or acrylic lid, you'll have to either cut a section away to allow the food to fall in.

    What is the recommended reef tank size of a beginner?

    • @OG_JimboSlice
      @OG_JimboSlice 8 років тому +1

      Whatever your budget can handle. Saltwater requires an ongoing fiscal commitment. If you cant budget for water. chemicals, food, livestock, lighting changes, and any upgrades that come on the market then dont even bother starting. It's an expensive hobby and a never ending fiscal commitment...

    • @Greego

      Many people will tell you to go as big as you can and I thoroughly agree. When I got my first 75 gallon reef tank setup, I ignored that advice thinking 75 gallon was huge enough but once I started putting coral and fish inside of it, I quickly ran out of room. I couldn't keep some of the nice and more exotic fish due to the tank size and placing my coral in the tank was like playing Tetris. I almost immediately regretted not going with a big tank. To compensate, I began setting up other tanks around my house. Keep in mind though, this is a very, very expensive hobby as mentioned above. It is hard to conceptualize just how expensive it can be until you get that tank up and running and start to buy items for it. I don't think a day has gone by for months where UI haven't purchased something related to my reef tank. Expect to spend about $3,000 just to start up. It then gets crazy. Race Car driving or aircraft piloting may be cheaper.

      +BulkReefSupplyCom it was a new adition and only at that moment i realize how brown my clawnfish was....and after 1 mounth the new adition lost his bright orange and become brownish...the Hikari S was bronish to green and i think that was the problem.
