      Absolutely! That’s a good name, I like it a lot👍 it’s currently 8F here, so full on winter mode. When it gets warmer and I finish it off to where I can drive it to a weigh station (FAR AWAY) I will definitely let you know. As of right now I can pick it up empty

      It is getting painted white so I’ll probably put a Merch Rover 1 right on there dude 😎

    Don't forget to vent the battery boxes to avoid hydrogen gas build up and vent the main cabin to for condensation. Repurposed PC fans may be an avenue you may want to look into to enhance air flow. How comfortable was that seat? I'm excited to see what you do with the charge controllers and power distribution system.. The only thing missing now is the wood stove and maybe a small amount of potable water storage for boondocking..

    • @JMERCHRIDES
      @JMERCHRIDES  3 роки тому +1

      You know it 👍 I’m putting a hole in each box and a intake / exhaust similar to the ones in my old grow room for air exchange. Also a weep hole in the front where the propane will be.
      I’m not planning on keeping a tank on board, just a can to fill up since I usually never use more than 5 gal at any given time, and the weight is a lot. So I’ll keep a camel back on my tank bag and have a hose attachment for my water pump so I can suck it up from anywhere really. It’s basically the same setup I used in the cabin. An in line filter is all that’s needed extra.
      Can’t wait to have it all done to show everyone what I’ve been scheming up

    • @bryanirwin5473

      @@JMERCHRIDES Have you seen the 5 and 10 lb propane tank options? Those could be easily mounted externally and free up some internal storage space.. Look up extend a stay propane adapters.. Its an easy way to expand your lp capacity with minimal weight..

    • @JMERCHRIDES
      @JMERCHRIDES  3 роки тому +1

      I’ve seen them, I’ve been asking around for them but don’t know any locally, I might have to just buy one online, that would be ideal, 5lb is more than enough for me. I know I would use 1 20lb for a year so no need for a giant one.
      It does take up a lot of space and weight.

    All your weight should be in the front, not the back!

    • @JMERCHRIDES
      @JMERCHRIDES  3 роки тому +1

      For a car or truck that’s correct, It’s a little different for a motorcycle, it needs to be a precise weight on the hitch. If I put all the weight up front the load would be too much on the frame and make the motorcycle suspension bottom out and become very unsafe.
      Too far back and it will fishtail and cause an accident, so it’s all about tongue weight, that’s why I put the little section at the end in the video. ✌️

      @@microbefeeder absolutely, I know man, you’re good people, I’m trying to just keep it as helpful to others who might be reading it. I don’t want to get another person into a crash lol. That’s why I’m not talking too much about specs just yet, because I’m still getting everything dialed in and it takes some time.
      Thanks for looking out, I do appreciate it, if you guys didn’t care you wouldn’t say anything so I hear you my friend 😁✌️and thanks for that
