Very good work on your videos too mate. I started with N gauge on Westfield I and II but then the eyes stopped being able to read loco numbers so sold it all and upscaled
How big is the room? Knowing will give me an idea of how much I can accomplish in my loft with a N Gauge layout that I am presently building. Regards Chris
@@Chris-BognorRegis Westfield IV is in a garden room 11m x 3m with a door into the conservatory and a fire escape however if you look at the Westfield III video on this account it was in a converted loft and was 7m x 2.8m both OO gauge so N gauge could fit huge expanses of trackwork into those dimensions. Westfield I was a shelf branch station and Westfield II was double track mainline with a branchline terminus and occupied a 4m x 4m cellar, both of these first layouts were N Gauge. Eyesight was the reason for up gauging, when you can’t read loco names and numbers etc etc
Thankyou for the dimensions and it is the Westfield IV that I was interested in. My loft space is 12m x 2.4m so I have an idea now watching yours how much I can put into my N Gauge layout. Because of the limited width space I have built my Terminus on a higher level but sadly it means a good percentage of my running track will be hidden underneath it. Having looked at yours I might be able to have my running track in front of my raised section,. Looking at yours now gives me ideas as to how I can improve on my design, thank you.
Sorry, another question. At 3:45 how wide is that section of the layout. from the edge to the backscene? Likewise at 8:10 how wide is that? Otherwise loving the channel.
Fantastic looking layout! It must bring you endless hours of fun!
It does!
This is a beautiful and well thought out vision. Bravo
@@craiglabreche9902 thanks
Fantastic layout! Loved the turntable action at the end with all the mainline traffic going past!
Thanks mate
Looking really awesome, love the detail of the telegraph pole wires, gives it another dimension.👍
