- I'd like to just point out that this build is very much a WORK IN PROGRESS. I feel it has TOO much lifesteal but I put extra because I struggle a little bit with Yin at the moment. Her lashkick is a bit iffy for me personally, so I have extra sustain.
As I improve as a player I plan to reduce the lifesteal and increase damage, crit chance and attack speed. This is why I'm releasing a gameplay first and then a build and guide. It's simply impossible for anyone to release a good quality guide when a hero has such a high skill cap and I pride myself on quality hero gameplay, guides and content.
This is the build I used in the video however if you are interested. I have a 100% WR with it currently but it might need adjusting as players adapt to Yin.

Isn't she ment for specific matches? I mean i would only take her if projectile casters were present in the enemy team. Would she still be affective against a non-projectile caster based enemy team when her ult and right ability are ment for these projectiles?

RGSACE I highly recommend using a full crit build of pure damage, I was doing about 601+ and deleted an entire team that was trying to body block me from killing the enemy yin. The build was 96% crit chance and I had about only a wind carver blade with only 1 major/brutal kinetic for speed. Pls do a 100% crit video with her, I would love to see that.
PS. I want to add that I was offlaning (healer token and hunters drink), and was focusing on getting cp (she alone can obliterate raptors which is insane), sadly I was fighting against a team with barely any ranged based heroes which rendered 1 of my abilities useless and the ult was only used to push them away to clear distance.

hey just curious, how do you feel about her in the off lane? I feel like she'd be better off there for two reasons: 1 in the safe lane you very rarely go against anyone with range or projectiles to reflect back so that entire mechanic sits unused, whereas in the safe lane you have plenty of projectiles to reflect at supports and even sparrow and grim. 2 her ult blocks ranged basic attacks as well so you can go in on the enemy carry and deal big damage while they literally cannot touch you and have no choice but to run away. thoughts?

How does your offlane deck differ from your Safe lane one? Just curious since I'd like to try Yin there and I'm not a very experienced off-laner

So ideal you want to take a lot of lifesteal ? I usually take no more than 20 on Rangers ... offlane yin I think I'd incorporate some health since she isn't the main carry
Played a few games with her today using basicaly the same build as you but i dunno ,, the whole novelty thing of her deflecting stuff doesnt seem to get used very much and there are just better options for characters that farm or kills
you can solo raptors with her very early with a bit of lifesteal because you get health back 3 times faster if you us her E and hit all 3 raptors

you should try riktor, that buff makes him op if you can land your hooks. the last match I end 8/4/10.
P.D. pro tip: you can keep your right mouse botton to prepare your hook so you can se the distance but I use it to make the solo planet fear me and make him get away from the minions, so if you can make you carry just last-hit and make the enemy sololaner get under his tower you can deny him a lot of experience
I use her ult to escape or to slow enemies to keep them within range not really to stop projectiles

It may be a bug but Yin cannot deflect Seek and Destroy nor Sticky Mine.

Hey Sace addressing your issue on iggy yesterday, ash if the witch slows on ability. Thats extremely op on iggy. Plus it adds an extra slow on gadgets ult.
Just played Iggy, went pretty well...Ash of witch is pretty good, not sure how early to pick it up though

what is the best lane for Yin i've just test her in solo vs AI. What is the best lane?
Some people prefer to play her on the Safe lane, and others in the Jungle. Besides that, don't take her to offlane or mid since she struggles as solo laner. i.e: the enemy Yin on this video

Safe lane, I enjoy her there. I did do very well in the offlane 7-0 but I think against better players I would have found it a lot harder. Jungle is an option although I prefer a jungler like Grux or someone with a form of CC like Sevarog or Rampage

But I'm starting to realize her deflect/anti projectile shtick is a wee bit gimmicky, I mean you can do good and all but seems really situational.
you can use your ult on raptors, slow their projectiles and then slap it back at them, its awesome!
this is awesome indeed! Have not had chance to try it yet, wonder what level I could take them and how much damage 5 seconds of spits will do when fired back at them.
Not to go off topic, but what do you think of all the streamers deciding to leave Paragon due to lack of support and appreciation from Epic? I know you don't have this issue but do you think it's an actual issue for others? I honestly don't, Epic takes time to select the people they're going to support within the community and if you weren't chosen it's not that you were ignored, they just didn't see as much potential in your content as they saw with others. Just looking for your opinion though. LOVE the video, I've been moving so I haven't played in about a week so thanks for always quelling my Paragon thirst lol.

You can reflect basic attacks that are range based because they are considered projectiles

Countess works miracles against yin :)
if you can't play yin to the best of her ability you will still dominate. near constant 100% cleave with longer than melee range. Auto attacking with her E is enough to be a real threat on the battlefield if you know positioning.
I opened two diamond chests from my heroes leveling up. From one I got THREE 11k rep things which gave me 33k rep which I already have loads of and the other one gave me a loot crate key. I opened the loot crate to get a red version on undertow gideon and I already had undertow gideon(only tier 3 skin I have) so I got mad cause I could have got some other skin.
On the bright side, im almost in platinum

leave gold buff? nah. Just wait until the enemy lane is pushing up. Then take it and slow whip those waves. And, whenever possible, you should definitely take gold buff before getting raptors.

Just had the worst teammates ever... first they didn't attack river buffs, then they kept trying to be fancy and solo it, Howie and Twin pushed and died mid lane 6 times, and I couldn't do it. I'M A STEEL SUPPORT YOU WANT ME TO DO EVERYTHING?!?! So I promptly left the game because they wouldn't surrender. God I need a break...
