You can hear the roll-off in the cadence just before they start to play. Either a instructor told the drum line to play the roll-off or it is pre-programmed into the cadence.
The band directors call out the song number (the band already knows what they are). Percussion can kick off any song as long as the band knows what song it is.
I hope the lady on the side talking was a monster at turns in her time.... for her to say she is not going to be happy if they dont get the turn right... #MaybePracticeMore #GetThemRight instead of talking about them
This is a college band so I really don’t understand why the instructor have to keep telling them what to do on performance day..they should know there formations and how to cut corners...i expect more 🤷🏽♀️#MyOpinion
