The first tournament I watched was SKTAR 3, so my introduction to modern ssbm was the middle of PP's reign as best in the world. As a fellow NC Falco, PP quickly became my favorite of the gods.
Damn i agree so much. I always tell people how much i love apex 2014 ppmd. He was just on such a higher level than anyone else in the tournament. It wasnt just that, but the way he played with such fire and passion. Its so motivating to see someone so incredibly motivated be so dominating.
Apex 2014 was the first and only super major I ever attended. I’ll never ever forget that experience. The gods were insane to see in this event compared to any others I had been to where they weren’t all in attendance. PP played insane.
I don't know if you saw my comment in the deleted video so i'll say it again. If you haven't already it would be super interesting if you could analyze The Runback - PPMD at Pound 5. It has a lot of edits but I think it would be cool to hear your opinions on PP's play.
It sucks when PPMD is literally your favorite smash player. Like, I get hyped for other players too. But nothing was more hype than watching APEX 2014/2015 and SKTAR3 live. Feels bad :(

Watching PP's Falco is like watching art in motion. He just seems to do amazing technical plays with no effort in these clips.

Tbh i think we got the good ending, PP isn't coming back and Armada retired and they both left a legacy to be proud of.

I've always agreed with this. Nobody has ever won a major as hard as pp won apex 2014. Multiple 4 stocks of other gods. He was on a whole other level
