Two in One, 6x6 Mini Album Tutorial

- This is the walkthrough for the both of the albums that can be created following this 6x6 mini album tutorial.
The first version is very simple and can be created in an afternoon.
The second version of the album follows the same steps as the first but has additional elements to each page design.
It is still a fairly straight forward album that can be created in a couple days.

I had just finished 1 of 3 albums for 3 graduates and wanted something different for the next 2. I spent all day yesterday watching videos. I didn't want anything over 7x7 or smaller than 6x6. Finally, last night, I found part 1 of your tutorial for the Two in One. Hooray! Just what I wanted! I will be making the 2nd version for the two albums. I will be using G45 Bloom on 1 and G45 Love Notes on the other (without making it romantic ..LOL)...After I finish these two, I will be making one using G45 Little Women and then a baby album. All this to say, I am so glad I found you!! Thank you for making these tutorials.

Thank you so much for your tutorial, I have just made the 2nd version of the album. I have made the album for my daughter who is animal lover and so I have used animal related paper.
It really makes me chuckle when you say 'clean off the bitties'.
I bought 2 pads of Once Upon A Time many years ago but have never used them. I could never find anything worthy but now I have. Wow! I've never made an album so I'll do a couple of simpler ones first but I definitely will be doing one of these. The design does the card stock justice. Thank you, I'm so glad I found this tutorial. I just found your channel, and by what I have just seen, I am SO VERY glad I did. Your intro was so touching & heartwarming, & I could tell that what you were saying came from your heart. The love & sincerity came through loud & clear in your voice. Your albums are amazing, & I love both of them & both papers you used. But, I do have to say that when I saw the name of the 1st one, it made my heart smile. A young boy in High School (over 50 yrs ago) said that the song "This Magic Moment' would be our song forever. He passed away several years ago, but whenever I hear the song, it takes me back to my high school years & him, so I am definitely going to purchase this paper & make this album. It will be my 1st album ever. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to watching many more of your videos. :).

Beautiful albums. The paper on the first one is stunning. The colours are so rich and vibrant, especially the blue from the first pages. I have always loved the Once Upon A Time paper and it looks great in the second album.

Good morning, I subscribed to your channel last year and your albums are just so beautiful. I kept looking at your videos of your tutorials and album intro's. I told myself that I just couldn't make something like that because it seems too difficult. I have made some albums before but they weren't hard to make but I came across this tutorial and I just love the way you made the base page first then add the design to that page then add the patterned paper then on to the next page. Usually the other tutorials make the album cover first then all the pages then decorate and embellish but, I get so overwhelmed with the decorating part at the end that I just give up and it sits with all my unfinished albums. I know you made this one last year but I made the pages in just two days. I followed your videos and put it together just the way you did and that worked so much better for me. All i need to do now is the album cover which I always enjoy doing. anyway, sorry that i'm just rambling but I was so proud of myself for making it in that short amount of time. I've only started making albums starting late last summer and I just got too overwhelmed with trying to figure out the patterned paper part that I just quit making them. I now have a method that I'm going to follow (which is your method). Thank you so much for inspiring me to start making albums again. Thank you for your tutorials and your work is so very neat, clean and so beautiful. God bless.

Hey there Katia! It's Claire from England. The beginning of your video really rang true for me. I followed your tutorial for the 6 x 6 black, white and red album. It's taken me a long time to do, mainly because I was scared to cut into my beautiful Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime papers, but you encouraged me that they would still look as beautiful on my album pages. It's really been a labour love for me, and I am thrilled with what I have created. It is by far the best thing I have ever made. The bits and pieces you sent me have made a huge difference as it's been so hard to get hold of the papers and ephemera that I wanted to use. You'll be pleased to hear that I used lots of your scraps of varying sizes in the album, and they look great. I've added lots of beautiful swing tabs inside which look great. It's not yet finished - I still have to finish off the outside cover decor, decorative charms, closure, add the photos and glue in the pages. It's going to be a present for my Mum, and I can't wait to give it to her, and show her how to use the interactive pages. I've designed it so that you have to open something before you see any photos. That way, if there's anything she's not up to looking at (photos of her mum, my dad, and other loved ones for example), she won't have to, but can still look at some of the others. Be sure to know how much I have truly loved your tutorial, making the album and all of your help, encouragement, stuff and inspiration. I would not have been able to do any of it without you, and I am so very, very grateful to you for that Katia. Thank you, big squeezy hugs! Xxx.
P.S. I nearly choked when you said the first album in this video could be made in an afternoon! It would probably take me a month, although I am learning that it's not imperative to be so precious about everything!
