Black Sherif Impresses Washington DC Music Lovers, Sits Down with VOA

  • Black Sherif, a multi-award winning Afrobeats musician, was recently part of eight artists who performed at the inaugural Rolling Cocoa Festival in Washington D.C. The event was focused on showcasing Ghanaian art, fashion and culture.
    VOA’s Jackson Mvunganyi attended Rolling Cocoa where he sat down with Black Sherif. He spoke to the the 22-year-old Afrobeats star about winning local and international awards, his journey in music and how social media has contributed to his global recognition.
