Thank you for this recipe! Could we add a drop of coloring in the mix, to make it red for Valentine candies? Gel or Liquid. May be experimenting in the next week, to see how it holds up using both..
I'm a STEM student, we are currently during research about Agar-agar as a bioplastic packaging. According to other researches, it will take around 30 days until it decompose. However, I don't about the shelf life of using gelatine.
Hi Natalya, great recipe. Just quick question, if you want to play w different flavors and planning to use pure, instead of mint, what sugar content you shoud consider? Thanks. Looking forward for your net discovery.
Chef its really nice but i have a question ? What is the self life of this candy and can we make and keep in a jar on room tamp. Or we need to keep some where els and for how many days ?
I’m not sure about the exact expiry period. I’ve kept mine at room temperature for a couple of weeks, was completely fine... Just think of the ingredients that you use and how fragile those are on their own. Wrap is made of water, powdered gelatine and glycerine... so how perishable can this be?... as for the candies themselves, they would probably be more perishable... I would keep them in the fridge for max 2 weeks...
Hi Chef, I have a three questions: If I make a thicker layer would it hold something a bit watery like a mousse without melting at room temperature? The second is: what type of food can be in contact with it without damaging it? And the last one: how long it last? Like when is it expired?
Hi! The recipe looks good, I want to try it at home. However, can you recommend a substitute to food grade glycerin because it is not usually available in our vicinity? Thank you so much!!!
Hello Chef Rudokova! I would like to ask what type of gelatin did you use? Moreover, what might be the cause of the plastic if it is solid but is still slightly wet and moist? Keep up the good work Chef! @ChefRudakova
Hello @lydfrancineordinario3519 I clean with a bit of clear water before unstick it from my surface to put off the sticky sensation and then when it's dried back, i unstick it ! :)
Hi chef looks very nice just a thaught maybe instead butter use white chocolate like ganache more like modeling chocolate maybe more pleasing in your mouth
Natalia ❤️❤️Love from India.. Beautiful recipe good idea 💡 i will try for sure... I watch u r video since from the beginning.. I know you cook very well but these days i notice you acting in front of camera aslo soo beautiful... Good effort keep doing it.. All the best.. Keep smiling 😍😍
You are awesome beautiful and amazing. Thank you for sharing. I can now make edible plastic wrap. It's so easy. Also, you could flavor the wrapper if you want to. I am going to try making different flavors.
Sure! I love that you are asking this now, because we’ve just finished shooting a video on the vegan version of edible film, which can be used as candy wrappers as well 🤓✌🏻 Stay tuned! It will be released soon on the channel.
that should be safe, as it's made of all natural ingredients. and it completely dissolves in water. But it's not as reliable as plastic...more work needs to be done here to make it attractive for commercial use🤓✌🏻

Hi chef can u tell me how to make toffee..?
And what is the shelf life of candy u prepared today chef..
Amazing! Thank you, Chef Rudakova! Love your work! Do you think agar agar or some type of carrageenan could replace the gelatine?
Amazing thing to make edible plastic thanks for making this beautiful video
Cool recipe! I wonder if this wrap is heat-sealable or not?
Nice simple recipe. Good job.
May I know the shelf life of that packaging?
I'm a STEM student, we are currently during research about Agar-agar as a bioplastic packaging. According to other researches, it will take around 30 days until it decompose. However, I don't about the shelf life of using gelatine.
What would you wrap in this transparent edible wrap?🤪
Whats the use of the glycerine chef ?
It provides elasticity😉
Ok definitely trying this out chef!
Can i substitute it for glucose syrup or corn syrup?
Carmel candy
Awesome!! Thanks for sharing this! Love the way you explain!
Thanks for watching! You are awesome ✌🏻
Hello, for how long I have to rest the plastic?
GIRLFRIEND! This is going to be a fun recipe for my niece's birthday.... Thank you for sharing your videos with us all
Thank you for watching, De’Jenaba! Let me know how your niece will like it 🙃
can you please tell me the substitute of the food grade glycerin my mothers birthday is in 8 days and her dream is to try edible plastic wrapper
I have tried it but mine gets more brittle why ? Any solution or what is the mistake am i doing
Yeah....this plastic is not working...I am unable to un-mould it. How long did you cook it? Are your measurements accurate?
anyone knows can it contain liquid or something like jelly if I heat seal it?
Hi Natalya, great recipe. Just quick question, if you want to play w different flavors and planning to use pure, instead of mint, what sugar content you shoud consider? Thanks. Looking forward for your net discovery.
Interesting question. I would not adjust the sugar content. Flavouring does not really effect the sweetness in this case. Thank you for asking!🙃
Fantastic wow!!! Can we flavour the candy wrappers plesse
Awesome replacement for synthetic plastics
Awesome idia for making edible wrap.. I search and found a essay way from you
Thank you so much❤❤

This is absolutely gorgeous :) great job
Glad you like it!
How long do you cook it
I’ve tried this recipe twice and it stays a jelly consistency, is my gelatin not correct?

Chef Rudakova Thanks chef
heyy, is there a faster way for it to set? like dehydrating/putting it in the fridge? or does it have to set in a cool dry place for 2 days
Hi! Unfortunately, you cannot rush this process, otherwise, you won’t be able to get the same smooth film at the end.
@@ChefRudakova Surely will keep that in mind !!!, thanks again chef!
would it be possible to use agar agar instead of gelatin?
Hi Chef, I have a three questions: If I make a thicker layer would it hold something a bit watery like a mousse without melting at room temperature?

Can we use agar agar/ china grass instead of gelatin
You could change the world with this, and bring an end to the era of choking plastics.
This is amazing, looking forward to more content!
thank you🤓✌🏻
Could I sub the gelatin for agar agar?
Hi! The recipe looks good, I want to try it at home. However, can you recommend a substitute to food grade glycerin because it is not usually available in our vicinity? Thank you so much!!!
Very informative video. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes
Thank you 🤓✌🏻
Can we replace the glysirine with something else ??
Try Lemon Juice
For every 1 Tablespoon of glycerin, you can use 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
Not perfect for every situation, but these things actually beefed up my next meal!
MF DOOM reference!!!!
I'm curious if a dehydrator would ruin the wrappers or expedite the dehydration process.
Thank you for sharing!
Hi there !Can i use agar agar as gelatine
i have a video about that
@@ChefRudakova which one ?
is this safe from ants?. Thanks
hi chef what can i use instead unflavored gelatin?
How about agar agar?
Unique & too good
Hello Chef Rudokova!

Definitely trying this👏🏾
Hello, thank you for posting this recipe. Can I use agar agar (vegetarian gelatine) as substitute. I want to make this for my son who is vegetarian
I haven't tested this myself, but if you try, please share your results 🤓✌ Thank you
How is the wrap’s texture and taste like?
The texture is just like of a plastic wrap and it’s tasteless, since no flavourings were added 🙃
Can i use this edible wrap as wrapper to my cupcake? Does it melt when I put it on the oven?
you can, but it will melt🤓✌
Amazing work chef
Wow! Thank you.
Hi chef looks very nice just a thaught maybe instead butter use white chocolate like ganache more like modeling chocolate maybe more pleasing in your mouth
Great idea 👍🏻 Thanks for sharing. Let us know how it goes, if you try to make it😉

Sure🤓 why not?
It’s amazing…I loved it…am wondering how you learned all this…May I know your qualification..
THIS SO GREAT THANKS
"I have purchased the video, but there is no recipe similar to gelatin sheets. Please address this matter urgently
hey chef! i would like to ask if there is a bitter taste on the candies because of the mint leaves?
nope...
Thankyou so much chef very useful
Thanks for watching😊
Thank you Chef!

I love this so much!
Thanks, Travis!🤓 Your comments make me happy✌🏻
It's mesmerising but can please put the ingredients in the box

Chef is it heat resistant ?
Can I use heat to seal it ?
@Money Zard Thanks for answering this question, mate🤓✌🏻
Can I use agar?:)
Can we wrap this as tea bag
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 спасибо, что поделились рецептом!
Can I use agar agar to make this vegan?
Can i use agar agar instead of unflavoured gelatin
I haven’t experimented with Agar Agar I this recipe, but I assume that yes, it would work. Let me know please, if you try.
@@ChefRudakova ya sure
What should be the quantity of agar agar if I replace gelatine?
Questions:
1) Do you need to sift the mixture before letting it set?
2) Leave it in room temperature, if i am from somewhere humid? Is that ok too?
Is this soluble in water? Like does it dissolve readily? The wrapper?
it is, but not that readily... needs some time 🤓✌
can i make another version of it but with some orange peel?
Such a lovely recipe :)
Thanks a lot! 🤓✌🏻
Thank you so much

Very cool
How to store it , please?
Airtight container.
So cool!
This is genius!
can we make a transparent chocolate bar?
Great as usual
I liked the idea👏 but since gelatine is made up of skin and bone of animals, can the edible wrapper be made using only vegetarian ingredients?
