    Awesome video tutorial on tiger nuts 👏 👌.I make milk with it, and I use coconut 🥥 water and it doesn't need any sweetener 😋 at all.

    I've been wondering if mine were ready to harvest because they're about half turned tan/brown with some green sedge grass still there. I planted them in early May in zone 8a (and then a bunch more at different times through late June). This video was very helpful, thank you!

      Other videos say when the green leaves turn completely brown, they are ready to harvest,

    Thanks Martin for another great informative video 🙂. How did the ones you left in the ground do so far this year?

      Thanks for leaving a comment! Sorry didn't see it until now. The trouble withleaving them in the ground over the winter is that rodents might find them before you do. :D

    Are these plants Cyperus esculentus or Horchata invasive at all in Ireland? I believe they are invasive elsewhere?

    • @GardensforLife
      @GardensforLife  4 роки тому

      They're not invasive as they don't even go to seed in our climate and they hardly spread at all as they're clumping grass.

    Do you wait for the die before harvest ?

    • @GardensforLife
      @GardensforLife  3 роки тому +3

      I wouldn't say die. I wait until they have gone dormant and died back to the ground. :D
