I don't care about what people say about this game (although I do feel bad for those that literally could not play it due to technical issues), I absolutely loved it.
It’s good to be back. And in next gen. I’m not going to lie to you; I had the technical difficulties with this game on launch, so I figured It would be best is to wait it out until it was fully functional and not crashing on me every ten minutes. After the patch update that was for next gen specifically I was relieved and I didn’t crash once. And seeing that it’s getting the attention from a technical standpoint and thanks to Edgerunners. This is one helluva comeback. :)
It’s a guitar cover of a in game song called “ponpon sh*t” by one of the characters in game. You can look up on UA-cam many covers of it that give off similar calming vibes!
There's a series of virtual walking tour videos on YT, that feature a videographer, walking through various parts of Tokyo and other Japanese locations, while holding a stabilized 4K camera at near eyeline height. Most take place in a day or night, rain free environment, but I remember a night time one that was filmed just after a rain storm. This reminds me so much of it. The lights reflecting off the wet pavement, the sound of his footsteps, the even more futuristic background, the passersby-some dressed differently than "normal". You did a really great job of providing a walking tour of yet another place I'd love to visit, this one decidedly much harder to get to, lol. Thanks for your effort. 👍

its really good and the world design is great. I wish non-gang member NPCs felt a bit more lively though. Especially in the rain. I recently watched some rain videos and I realized how often people laugh / run / scream when its raining. It usually triggers very excited / nervous responses in people. So its weird to have a game where it rains and people just zombie walk around. Seems like it would be easy to make NPCs yelp and giggle and run to cover when it rains but otherwise its a good representation of the feeling.
Despite the troubled launch, I really need to thank all the devs for the hard work they've poured into the game. It really is a great game. Such an awesome experience, story and all.
Hard work? The work they did to make the game *playable*? The work they did to add basic features commonly expected in modern open world games? The hard work they did too add less than a quarter of what was originally promised to us? The hard work they did that lost us the second DLC they had promised before launch? The hard work they did on the REDEngine, which is being discontinued after CyberPunk 2077? They haven't done shit to Cyberpunk 2077 but make it run better. You shouldn't blow the developers for doing the absolutely bare minimum. "Troubled launch" is one way to tip-toe around it... it was literally taken off Playstation's marketplace, something that has only happened a handful of times. The developers literally hid gameplay on older consoles when the game nearing release and certain influencers were getting early PC copies to test. They said the game ran "Suprisingly well" on Old gen; that is a direct quote. People need to stop congratulating developers for releasing shit games, and patching them over the course of 3 years. "Oh, Cyberpunk was literally unplayable for most people when it came out, but now its good! Yeah, Halo Infinite was universally criticized when it came out, but it's getting better! Man, Battlefield 2042 was a failure at launch, but it's fun now!" The developers don't need your sympathy or support. Cyberpunk 2077 broke multiple sales records through preorders alone; something that can't be refunded. That was their goal, they purposely marketed the game in a deceiving manner, and the developers were part of it, not just the "investors" and "higher ups". But guess what? They could lie all they want, literally piss in the mouths of their consumers, because they had already financially succeeded before the game even launched; and 3 years later suckers like you will forget about everything or be ignorant towards it, and praise them for ending their stream. "Oh, thank you CDPR, for the hard work it took to stop pissing in my mouth! It really is great to not have piss in my mouth anymore! Such an awesome experience, no longer having piss in my mouth!" - someone, who's already forgot that there was piss in their mouth. It doesn't matter if you weren't around for launch, and the hype before launch, but if you weren't, I want you to know that the game isn't anywhere close to what they had promised and showed us. The last almost 3 year of development have been 90% bug patches and fixes, NOT EXTRA CONTENT. People are so caught up on the fact that the game now even runs, that no one cares it's missing half the features it was supposed to contain. Even the story was supposed to be way more dynamic, yet the only mission that has any dynamic choices is literally the very first maelstrom mission during the "tutorial" phase. You know why? Because that's the mission they showed to everyone at E3. 99% of speech skill checks in Cyberpunk 2077 are just there to fluff up dialogue, rather than give branching narratives. The multiple endings don't even hinge what-so-ever on your dialogue choices, but rather 3 side quests; one's which, if you participate in them, you will always be able to pursue their endings, no matter how you approach the side quest. So yeah, keep praising the devs for the "hard work" they've put into the game. But don't act surprised when a majority of the major triple A titles that are released in a year are poorly made and focus primarily on marketing. Because you're sitting here praising them for it, for doing the absolute bare minimum. Go ahead and say something like "Too long didn't read lawl" or "you're so mad XD", prove my point that you're a mindless consumer. Because to CDPR, and every other studio that operates in the same manner they do, this bullshit "launch now make it "good" over the span of multiple years", that's all you are. A mindless consumer, who can be easily manipulated into either buying games outright, or eventually forgiving studio's for no good reason, and then buying their games. Either way doesn't matter to them, because you're buying their game, and riding their dick while you're at it. You and people like you are genuinely the reason the video games industry and been in such a rutt, and unable to climb out. It's fine if you enjoy playing Cyberpunk 2077, that's you're own personal opinion based on your subjective reality. But the Studio's actions before and after releasing the game are not subjective; they are definitive, and deserve absolutely zero praise.
@@HoneyDog You sure have a lot of vitriol for a stranger that did nothing but express their appreciation for the work that went into the game. Highly odd for someone who calls strangers mindless to then go on a presumptuous rant as if you're opinion is more valid than their appreciation. CDPR's artists really outdid themselves with the architecture, despite the dystopian aesthetic they're truly beautiful designs - like you I find myself constantly gazing in wonder at the majestic cityscape. Night City is the most magnificent open-world map ever created; the detail and verisimilitude are completely unprecedented. Every single time I play I find new nooks and crannies. It's one of those rare games where exploration is rewarding in itself. Even long after finishing the story I fire up an old save and roam the streets looking for gigs, cyberpsychos, or simply interesting places - and it _never_ gets old. Sure, I admit some more world interactivity and a few more minigames would enhance the experience, but it's phenomenal as-is, and I have no doubt that its sequel will be significantly more awe-inspiring. Now all we need is a bloody new Deus Ex game! At least finish Adam Jensen's story!!! PLEASE!!! 😅
Are you really walking around in Cyberpunk 2077 for 10 hours straight whilst sitting down and focusing on where you’re walking to? Serious question, and if so you have my full respect! That just shows how much you want to please and entertain your subscribers, much love 🙌🏼
Hey! Initially my plan was just to walk around Arroyo but then I ventured little bit further and thought that I might as well walk through the whole night city visiting all the districts. I'm focusing the best I can, but sometimes I can miss interesting things because I'm too focused on the route I want to take. Sometimes I also need to pause and look at the map (although I have map open in other monitor but that does not show my location of course). Also note that it's not on one sitting but three separate sessions. I'm glad if you enjoy it! 😊
WOW! 10 and a half hours long walkthrough in the Night City! All night, every night has another meaning i wasn't aware of it until this video😏... You are awesome👍🏻! Thank you for your effort and dedication...
It reminds me irresistibly of the Rambalac videos in Japan. It's a great idea to make this kind of trip in such a fascinating environment. For that reason alone, this game is worth a visit.
100 hours in the game and still haven't finished the main story as i would always get distracted by side stuff or by driving around the city and vibing goes to show what a great of city they built in this game
This game has come along ways since launch. I find myself actively strolling the city because of how vibrant and alive it feels. Im always finding new crimes to solve and interesting things by doing it
@@danzoEXyea, although it is realistic to where it is set ( California), I would have preferred for it to rain more often. I’m pretty sure the person that makes these videos uses a weather mod or smth
Truly, I love these places and I love progress and technology, and I wish I could live to see this day and see all this wonderful development and those beautiful roads. I wish I could see the robots and coexist with them. This has made me feel a feeling I have never felt in any video other than this one. I really love you, man! I hope you post another video with the same quality...
Hands down one of the best games Ive ever played, Im so thankful the devs got the chance to really deliver with this title, it took awhile, but Id say it finally lived up to the promise.
I recently got this game a week ago and i'm just absolutely loving it on the PS5! Graphics are so stunning! Love to immerse myself in the world of Night City! ❤️🤩
Great video! So relaxing and immersive. A side conversation I guess, but I really wish AI would be already something more common and embedded into game systems. We are reaching this point where the cognitive dissonance created by having amazing realistic graphics in these worlds contrasting so much with having very little interactive options with them (besides shooting and climbing stuff..) is becoming really big and glaring. I wish we could have conversations with each NPC, lay low or go for some meals with some characters, have some random casual events where NPCs need our help with something (not necessarily with violence involved). An AI "engine" can create/manage these kind of events. The potential for immersion with such systems is so big. Really hope developers will recognise that potential and keep evolving such tech.
That’s kinda what people hoped this game Would be (whether those expectations were warranted or not). I think the lack of interactivity in the world and with its characters is 2077’s biggest drawback.
@@user-dj9iu2et3r yeah, I think thee hype was too high in that sense (CDProjekt is to blame as well for that obviously, given that they actually lied about certain features). I think building such a graphically amazing and complex game is already really demanding in terms of resources, let alone creating and developing multiple emergent systems that interact with each other. It would be good if the marketing bullshit (essentially trying to show hiper realistic graphics) would be put on the side sometimes by AAA devs so they could put some focus as well on this systems, like more experimental AI focused stuff and whatnot. But we know that is not happening so soon as everyone still seems to chase the “looks so real” aspect, instead of the “feels so real”.
I hope they do this with the sequel. I've seen a Skyrim mod that uses an AI that allows the player to have a full on conversation with the NPC I think if this technology can be applied to future games (hoping for the Cyberpunk sequel) it'll add 1000 points to immersion
@@josecisneros5516 YEs, I have seen it too! It still takes a bit of time to analyse and respond - which is an awkward interaction for humans - but indeed as soon as that is sorted I also believe it will be the future of interaction in games.
The fact you can walk for hours in this game and constantly be discovering something new speaks to the imagination of the architects. I only wish the game had launched in this state.
There's an insane amount of detail in this game. I know there are repeat tiles and textures, but still sooo many of them, assembled into an entire downtown. Enough to ignite the exploration instinct of any outsider and not get bored. A virtual world.

the best thing cyberpunk 2077 give us is that...when u stop and start looking around...ya feel something strange and you just want to sit down and look around. it absorbed me into looking into the world
Man I loved this game, got it back in 2022 but for some reason stopped at around level 13, picked it back up recently and I’ve been on it daily ever since. Just put in 106.4 hours and the story and world has me so immersed, so it’s only natural that the sounds of night city help me sleep at night. Definitely my favorite game despite its launch and bugs, loved every second of it!!
It’s such a shame that the insanely well-realised and constructed world of 2077 didn’t get the rest of the game it deserved. The NPCs, vehicles, their sounds, movement/animation, their behaviours are all so under-executed, or under-delivered on, that their blatant artificiality compromises the world-building/environment design & realisation by making it feel cheap and uncanny. There’s such a dissonance between them that it makes the perfectly executed “lived in” aesthetic of the world feel bizarrely empty and lifeless. Just seeing NPCs/peds robotically follow their paths and acting and reacting so unnaturally with each other or with road crossings or obstacles, like NPCs having a meltdown when walking near or towards another, like it’s too much for them to handle without their heads exploding; or seeing random kid NPCs walking around alone at night in the rain with no obvious reason for them being there, no logic to it, no purpose besides having been a random spawn from a list of random NPCs whose only ability and function is to populate the street and walk in a straight line, and seeing them even struggle with doing that most basic task well, ruins what could have been one of the most brilliantly realised, designed and constructed game worlds in history. What makes it even more tragic, is that Rockstar (who are not perfect of course) was able to produce a more convincing, logical and functional pedestrian/vehicle NPC AI system almost 15 years ago now with GTA4 and then Red Dead. Don’t get me wrong, Rockstar’s games have their major faults too, including with the pedestrian and NPC AI and behaviours, but even thought it may be shallow, it always has a logic behind it, and it brings the world to life, even if that world is not nearly as breathtakingly well-designed and realised as 2077. Pedestrians are spawned in places where it makes sense for them to be, they are assigned tasks or at least look like they’re walking or existing with a purpose, and they interact and respond to each other in a more natural manner, they have logical and convincing interactions with the world, the traffic, road crossings, weather, the neighbourhood they’re in, and with the player character. Now, the illusion is quite easily broken, and looking too closely will reveal it to be quite a shallow system (well, maybe even thats unfair, in the context of a series of games that are years old and were and are groundbreaking in simulating an open-world,their NPC AI and behaviour design and execution is pretty well unmatched to this day), but we’re playing a video game, not real life, we need to suspend our disbelief somewhat if we’re to enjoy them. And that’s the problem with 2077: it’s impossible to suspend our disbelief and immerse ourselves in the illusion because it fails at creating the illusion in the first place with its painfully artificial and unconvincing NPC population and their AI and behaviour systems. Oh, and their too-often-sub-par stock animations and character models. It feels like GTA 3 liberty City NPCs in RDR2 world/environment level design and construction. There’s no context to logic that connects the NPCs to the world around them and it ends up making all that painstaking environmental design and building significantly worse than it should be. It almost feels like having no NPCs at all would do the city more justice than this subpar and immersion-breaking mess of a system dragging it down.
Just say you like sandbox open world more than any other type. CDPR doesnt do sandbox games, they have diff engine. Rockstar on the other hand has shit linear quest design where u get game over after u leave scripted area for a second. These 2 studios focus on different things and it is ok to like one or the other.
I really hope cyberpunk will come to 3.0 or 4.0 in VR version. Imagine a much better high resolution display by the future VR device😭 And i hope at that time the RTX 5090 will be powerful enough
When I first played Omikron, one thing I liked to do was to just slowly walk around the city. The city was small, if I were to run, I would get to the end too soon. So I walked. The background music was awesome. 5:24

PLEASE!!! 😅
The ambiance in this game is truly amazing.
This is my favorite free roam video ever. Love your channel :)
@@DayDreamGamingTV how do you open up the map in another monitor?
@@agent5758 Hey! I use web browser and this awesome map: maps.piggyback.com/cyberpunk-2077/maps/night-city
@@DayDreamGamingTV how do you auto walk ?
@@agent5758 was that a serious question? xDD
it looks incredible, ive never seen a game look like this before
*Ghost of Tsushima has joined the chat*
@@stratejic1020 it doesnt look as good as its E3 demo
It is a gorgeous game. And the city is enormous.
@@stratejic1020 no…
@@DinaricUbermensch It literally looks the same
Just stopping in to say I literally rewatch this video every night as I’m going to sleep. I love this type of content.
すごい!
こういう動画を探してました!👍
I do this kind of thing fairly often, just fire up the game and stroll around for the ambience.
My god, cyberpunk has a lot of flaws but world design is definitely not one of them. Night City is absolutely breathtaking.
This ambience is so incredible i can just end all the worlds problems
Not going to tho
This game has come along ways since launch. I find myself actively strolling the city because of how vibrant and alive it feels. Im always finding new crimes to solve and interesting things by doing it
Just wish the weather system was more active, seems to barely rain in the game
@@danzoEXyea, although it is realistic to where it is set ( California), I would have preferred for it to rain more often. I’m pretty sure the person that makes these videos uses a weather mod or smth
you are amazing, 10h, what a beast, thanks for everything!
I can now finally feel like a streetbum in nightcity
Truly, I love these places and I love progress and technology, and I wish I could live to see this day and see all this wonderful development and those beautiful roads. I wish I could see the robots and coexist with them. This has made me feel a feeling I have never felt in any video other than this one. I really love you, man! I hope you post another video with the same quality...
Hands down one of the best games Ive ever played, Im so thankful the devs got the chance to really deliver with this title, it took awhile, but Id say it finally lived up to the promise.
I have the game but I like to sleep listening to how it rains and it's really relaxing 😌💙
I recently got this game a week ago and i'm just absolutely loving it on the PS5! Graphics are so stunning! Love to immerse myself in the world of Night City! ❤️🤩
Watched a lil bit saw the quality expected it to have at least 500k damn.. underrated
OMG ten HOURS? I hope it's just more than two videos merged together! XD
Thank you for your dedication and amazing content. ^_^
Can’t play 2077 currently due to pc issues and always loved doing this, so this was perfect choom, much appreciated
Great vid
THANK YOU for this! My ps4 broke and I am not in a position to get another one right now, but my days do I miss this game. This helped so much.
Did you ever get a new ps4 or 5?
I haven’t played Cyberpunk in months and yet I still find myself sleeping to this video with earbuds
idk why but this is so nice to fall sleep. i yearn for nc
Well this is certainly nice and relaxing! It's like going for a nice and peaceful stroll.
"This mix is timeless. I’ve heard this one countless times
I love chilling in my city centre apartment or Japantown apartment when it’s raining at night so many vibes in cyberpunk
Think I may just walk around night city tonight and take it in. Love this game. Wish I could RP it more somehow.
Such a chill video. Thank you for the upload mate, im gonna use this a lot.
damn thankyou for making this video i'm so obsessed with this
This is gonna be perfect for a backdrop for my cyberpunk RED game
This game was Worth the wait on PS5 dad when I plat it. Can't wait for the dlc
should get some DLC news in less than a month!
I fell asleep to this and woke up to it, I'll be needing more of this content.
The fact you can walk for hours in this game and constantly be discovering something new speaks to the imagination of the architects. I only wish the game had launched in this state.
Nightcity vibe is something that can feel
I long for this type of world. Hopefully I live to see it.
We’re so far from this I feel like 😔
There's an insane amount of detail in this game. I know there are repeat tiles and textures, but still sooo many of them, assembled into an entire downtown. Enough to ignite the exploration instinct of any outsider and not get bored. A virtual world.

Whole night, every night.... i'm in Night City walk.
Most important reason for getting a new graphics card. This games is a masterpiece.
I'm starting the see our own reality look like this. On the way home tonight I saw SO many digital billboards seemingly draped across the city.
This game is a whole acid trip, no other game has given me that feeling 🔥
Thank you so much for doing this! When I have to work and can't play, it helps to have this on in the background with some good music and I find I do my work better!
No ads that I noticed, I got this on as background noise, nice work G
Cyber City soundtrack works great with these scenes. It's the expansion of scenery I've kind of dreamt of.
I was looking a screensaver for my C1. Thank you so much. Even better that is without logos or health bar.
This is absolutely amazing!!! Thank you for making this!!!
This one took awhile. 10hours, appreciate the dedication. awesome vid.
the best thing cyberpunk 2077 give us is that...when u stop and start looking around...ya feel something strange and you just want to sit down and look around. it absorbed me into looking into the world
Some of the best lighting and detail in gaming. Damn the lighting is so good
This was great man. Kudos
I wish I could connect to my PC... and go in this game... forever. Leave this life and .. go in NC.
Yep, this is my new favourite video to help me sleep! Thank you so much, choom, this is amazing! ❤️
8:04:18 woah woah slow down tiger. Don't get too excited!
Perfect background athmo for producing Drum&Bass and Futuristic Synthwave.

npc movement still needs a lot of work. it is archaic comared to gta iv from 2008.
Good work! Wow nicely done.
Thanks for this relaxing video. Great dedications
Listening to this while reading is perfect
This game is so aesthetic when it's raining at night time. I'm so glad this game is getting a dlc, it deserves it!
5:24
So I'm not first crazy one who searched for "Go for a walk" in 2077 and observe immersion😂
Ah
So it's more like "Scandinavian country slow video" without interaction. Like you're on railroad
Nice work! 👍🏻 Looks like it took an impressive amount of effort.
this game is such a masterpiece.
the world building is unlike any other.
Thank you for making this video 👍
INCREDIBLE! I CAN'T STOP WATCHING.
INCRÍVEL! NÃO CONSIGO PARAR DE ASSISTIR.
Waiting for my update for the new DLC :P
(Thanks for the effort, its awesome!)
