If you install linux ubuntu on it, can you get windows apps (like music notation software) with WINE (windows emulator) on this laptop? Or is the processor not supported?
If you type into any web browser you have installed "Chrome Download" and go to the webpage for chrome, you can select windows chrome download and it will download and install from there as long as you have an internet connection 😊 Once the download is complete, you should get a window pop up that prompts log in to your google account.

Hi! The fans are pretty quiet, I didn't notice them while performing basic tasks but they would pick up slightly if you were watching a full screen movie or playing a game. But honestly, they are very quiet.
I’ve had it since 2020, I use it for school and gaming. No issues apart from 1 bsod but still works great!
Do the fans make a lot of sound?

This laptop could've had a 16:10 screen instead of the huge bezel down at the bottom, as it makes it better for what it's made for.
