My Octatrack MKii arrives today after many many months of sitting on the fence whilst being hypnotised by EZbot. My Syntakt, Digitakt and Digitone are scared. 1 of them might leave, but I love them all. ❤❤❤ Brain workout about to commence.
Specially like that one, Moog Lab seem an untamed beast since release online actually but feel so appealing. I'm also thinking about modular as effects so a big thumbs up.
Sounding great, im still struggling with my octarack, but slowly learning from your videos, thanks. Good humour too. Todays problem on my octa is something to do with the scale settings that I cant find. Im using the Octa to sequence a virus, but for some reason, it wont sequence g#. It'll play it on the octa keyboard, but wont record the note I want. I pressume its forcing some sort of scale setting. Mighty frustrating. SO into the manual I go looking for answers. Theres alot to learn with the octa, definately the hardest thing to learn so far and im still just scratching the surface, but I love the complexity and power of it. Thanks EZ for all your vids their a good help and fun along the way.
Damn. That rig sounds nice. You could kick around with this thing for a long time and not get bored. You ganna do a live improv set with this? Could even lighten it a bit, dt doin almost nothin. Syntakt too. Could probs just roll in with ot/labrynth rig, scalp one of your ot tracks for a drum track and have a blast. Dope sound mang!
Some nice, rich and knarly sounds coming from the modular, though I'm not sure which parts the Syntakt and Digitakt are playing! I'm a big fan of Elektron- especially the Digitakt.
I wish I could get the sequencers from the Subharmonicon and the Labyrinth in something other than the synths themselves (and not Eurorack... I do not need to jump in that hole!)
yoo, thank you for this man. I'm new owner of an OT - your content is super appreciated. Could you comment on how you midi-sequence your OT with your modular rig here? Do you use a module specific for this task? Cheers dude! EDIT - sorry I can see it going into the Lab .. got it ;)

I think you are getting closer to that darker, edgier sound that is more my cup of tea.
“darker”?

it's easier than it seems :) think of it like a modular audio sampler!
this is a nice comment: that was dope. the stutter in that kick did it for me... pz.
Your synth setup is rich EZ bot!!! ❤ such richness
Love the setup and sounds. Nice work!
Some decent Bass Face at 5.30.
I’ve got a lot of practice!
Top notch like always 👏
A fully expanded Turing Machine is also so powerful.
Enjoyed this stream a lot! Really nice setup :)
Come on lacroix
Thank you for the support!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have a few modules that would work for drums and my OT
Nice one, this makes me think about not selling my AJH Moog filter..
Euclidian triggers and Eurorack for non drums every time

Kick, hat, and clap from Digitakt and everything else from the modular

Eurorack should be everybodys bread and butter
Do you sample your eurorack?
Yesterday I sampled some high pitched loops made with DFAM into the Octatrack and combined it with live DFAM output.
I do! I have been really enjoying my eurorack lately

What is the shift register thst you're using?
Intellijel Shifty
What's the Siren thing? A Moog Sirin?? You say it's super rare. What would be a good alternative?
A limited run stereo wavetable oscillator
My factory Closed Hat (6) and Open Hat (7) dont make a sound in the factory samples. Can anyone give advice?
You’ve got global mute AND pattern mute for each track. That’s caught me out a few times.
@leftmono1016 oh good tip. Thanks for that.
