    i learned the guy who designed and actually got that thing to provide power should get a noble peace prize for the most outrageous idea of the century that somewhat worked but may have been not the greast idea category, it takes skill to get that many tiny parts to work like a swiss watch, great vidjer

      His name is Felix Wankel he was a German engineer. The engines have been used in aeroplane's for many years. There "strongsuit" is there "power to weight ratio".

    I learned quite a bit during that video. I was thinking that Rotary engine were like 2 strokes in terms of complexity but apparently I was wrong. There are so many tiny pieces displayed here that could be forgotten. The e-shaft has to be placed a certain way, the bearings too, the springs, and the list goes on. A 2 stroke is easy to build in comparison.
    Thanks Vargas, that was worth watching.

    Yo!! Thank you sooooo much for covering this part of a dorito-ry! Having only helped rebuild one once, with no explanation, waaaaaay back in 99 while I was in Okinawa, this was awesome to see. I sat with the same look of amazement as my friend tore one down and reassembled it like it was nothing. Now, what he was doing makes sense! Great vid.

    I love this video, I want to buy an old rx-7 fc and its been well taken care of mechanically, however I want to "refresh" the engine when I get it to be safe, not many videos go into detail about for instance the springs being orientated the right way, and I love it! I would love to see a full teardown, and assembly from him! Shoot Id even pay $25-$50 for it. Super in depth and clear!

    You can tell when someone id building their inner torque wrench. They’ll yarn that thing until they feel that resistance they know they want. Engine building is an art and I’m planning on focusing my GM career on engines and their performance.
