But this will not be easy for Rahul Gandhi - he has taken his oath with the constitution in hand - but the Redemocratization project will not be easy. He will have to pull along the INDIA Block on one hand and push back against Modi's authoritarianism on the other.
To make matters worse for Rahul - nothing seems to have changed for the BJP post elections - be it bulldozer justice or legal power-grab.

I just wanna know what's the definition of democracy.
Is having 10 different parties coming together to making collation government is democracy?
Is having a strong opposition democracy?
Is choosing your candidate in vote democracy?
Why is the definition of democracy has been dulled down to a weak and fragile government.
If people have chosen their candidate and the candidate all together belong to a certain party and that party makes the government is that not Democracy.
Of course there are disadvantage of having an absolutely majority government but that doesn't mean that democracy is not working we people of India choose them they didn't appoint themselves. Next election we can bring them down if they don't work properly, that's democracy.
The bad decisions they made is bad and every misuse of power they did was because the idea or the covarying or the enforcement of the ideology was bad not because the democracy is in danger.
Stop this "Democracy ko patri pr lana hai" democracy is already on track the opposition just have to do their best to represent the people of India that have chosen them, and that doesn't mean opposing every bill even if its in betterment of society.
