Thank you so much for the video. I have a small very old yamaha with similar carburetor. Your video was very helpful, now my outboard is working again. That screw you did not know what it was, I think is for draining the bowl when you want to put your outboard away and avoid gasoline turning into gunk.
Great video, calm and slow enough even for me!! thanks a lot mate.
And where can find the diagram for properly wiring the new Cdi i just got. Someone cut all the cable for the old cdi and spark plug wires. I have i think 8 in total. I have the new cdi and i’m trying to find out what’s the correct spark plug wires i need … then i need to know a proper way to connect those cables together. Your help is greatly appreciated please
What spray do you use
my guess, If thats what it was, is that there was some water ended up in the fuel tank which ended up in the carb and over a period of time sat up grew a nice culture of green algae, I will remember this for future, nice Informative video, Thank You.
lost time the most important and precise moments remained behind the scenes .. I would rather find a diagram
your camera is looking tge otherway
use the brush next time.
Great video except start up with no water...uggg
Thanks. Water is just for cooling and as long as you don't run it for long it will be ok.
@@tolikgord I’ve always thought the same thing but If the impeller spins dry it will end up shredding rubber off. If it’s not greased that is. I don’t dry start mine anymore.
Bad filmimg
Thanks for your video. I am just currently repairing the same engine and i appreciated going thru your video before desasembling the carb. very detailed and helpful
