All of my friends have lovvvved their Rock n Play (The elevated carrier you're putting next to the bed.. maybe there are other names!) for their newborns. Wow! 8 weeks!! So excited for you both. :)
i had the rock n play and loved it so much! its easy to have in diffrent rooms so you can be cooking/showering/eating and hes right there able to sleep. I also like that i could fold it up and it was easier than a pack n play to bring with to grandmas or others house for a safe place to have baby.
If you have the monthly stickers to track his growth (the stickers on the onesies for pictures every month) you should take pictures next to that small giraffe so you'll see him getting bigger and the giraffe getting smaller :)
I want you to make sure you know that if he is sweating at all you need to take the temp behind the ear...you swipe across the forehead and down to behind the ear...anyhow I thought I should mention it cause I have that thermometer too...And its all great presents and I love what your dad gave him that baseball is so sweet.
Yay! So glad you had a great shower! We have the rock and play and absolutely love it! I kinda couldn't imagine my life without it lol my 3 month old son sleeps in it and loves it. I recently found your channel and just love you guys! It's so fun to watch other young couples on UA-cam! (I'm guessing you guys are LDS- we are too : D)

I just recently found you guys channel and I've watched every video since "Our Infertility Journey" and I'm trying to watch all the way up to where I'm caught up and i thought it would be cool to comment on every video all the way up so here we go.
All of the sweets looked so nice. I want one of those cupcakes so bad. Grey-blue is my favorite color.
What a throw back... this is just so cute
All your gifts are so cute! From my experience, I would not use that little cradle for Jackson to lay in for long periods of time. I used it for my daughter to sleep in until she was ready to transition to her crib and it gave her Flat Head Syndrome (back of head is very flat) The babies love the cradle because its so comfy but it makes it so they cant move their head around much! Fine for naps, but wouldn't recommend using it for overnight. Hope you don't take this as a negative comment, just trying to help anyone I can avoid the problems that we are dealing with now because of the cradle.

My little brother's name is Jaxson as well and I think it is funny because his favorite stuffed animal since he was only about a month old has been a giraffe he just turned 4 in February and he still sleeps with it
Those diaper disposable bags are great for on the go when changing baby in the car when running errands. I've babysat and those baggies would have made it so much better to throw the diapers away in a trash can nearby or at least kept the car from smelling as bad when throwing it away isn't possible [and when keeping it in the car is necessary and to throw away dirty diapers at home is the way to go.]
Hey, just wanna say that bundle me thing that goes in the car seat isn't safe because it goes in between him and the car seat straps, but just the cover that goes over top is safe :-)
