Melissa Aldan on Thoroughfare

Grammy nominated saxophonist and composer Melissa Adana is coming to Edmonton to play an arrangement of tunes by renowned composer and arranger Allan Gilliland. She will be premiering this new work alongside the Don Berner Big Band on March 30, 2024.
Before she stepped on stage of the Triffo Theatre in Edmonton, she dropped by Thoroughfare to share what inspired her while growing up, and where she finds inspiration these days.
