D link dir 825 has issues, I had purchased it in 2019, it had old firmware 7.0.xx then I saw new firmware with new gui and updated it, the router would go crazy sometimes would keep throwing errors and within few days the led stopped working on router, took it to service center and then they flashed the new firmware again and they said the router worked good whole day in the center as they used it for testing, I then again starting using but the router would still throw "privacy error" sometimes, then I migrated and had new isp who gave free tp link router which I used for 2 years untill last week, I again installed the DIR 825, there was a firmware update notification in settings, I did updated and currently using the dir 825, no major issues till now no privacy errors, but just faced net not working issue for 3-4 min prior to this comment which can be both isp or router issue.

Bro does it support printer sharing ? I bought D link dir 825 just for printer sharing but it doesn't support this feature now. I also confirmed this with D link customer service. So , I returned the product. Can you please confirm whether this router supports this feature or not ?

Can that USB port be used to create a print server?
Is the speed of ftp restricted to 20 mbps or up to usb 2.0 speed that is 480 mbps (assuming ssd has a speed of more than 1000 mbps
You can still access FTP in Windows OS by typing in navigation bar ftp:// followed by IP address, colon and port number
can you share printer over lan using that port?

Yes FTP via internet is possible but you should have a static public IP.
